The doctor was incredibly patient with me, and I absolutely loved my experience here. I have a background in dentistry, and this office reminded me why I wanted to work in the dental field in the first place. The quality of care they provide is truly exceptional. At an earlier appointment, he administered local anesthesia but didn't wait more than a few minutes before starting work, and didn't ask if I was numb yet before proceeding. He worked quickly and then rushed out to see another patient right after. It felt like a churn shop and I was in a lot of pain during the procedure and it was difficult to express this with a hand and tad tool being screwed into my mouth and how quickly the procedure went. I was to a state of shock of what was all happening to me at the same time. During the TAD procedure, gauze was placed in my mouth to catch a screw if it was dropped. It was never secured, and as it became soaked with water during drilling, the gauze started to close in on my throat making it hard to breathe. I had to shout out loud that I was choking because I could not breathe eventually, while Dr. Grewal was actively drilling. After the gauze was removed, he resumed drilling into the TAD site while looking away from my mouth, not at the instrument or the site he was working on. When he suctioned blood afterward, he also was not looking into my mouth, even after visibly noticing more blood on a second look. He finished and left the room without a word -- no acknowledgment of the choking incident, no apology, no explanation. This is my second uncomfortable experience with this provider. I'm leaving this review so other patients can make an informed choice. Basic safety steps, like securing anything placed near the airway, and watching the site while drilling or suctioning near blood vessels and nerves, should not be optional and made me felt very unsafe and uneasy during the procedure.

When does this guy stop working?! I love witnessing a master of any craft, and I can assure you this guy and his team are top notch. My daughter felt no pain, was able to watch cartoons during the procedure, and was sent home with goodies that made the dental visit seem fun instead of scary. I see most of the 1 star comments on here are due to the cost of the visit. Newsflash: dentistry is expensive in this country and your insurance is horrible! I paid with cash and got a discount. I'll be taking all four of my kids here for the foreseeable future. Thanks Dr. Richardson and staff for taking care of my family.
