My mom is friends with the owners of Cornucopia and we've been going here for years now. I much prefer it over other pumpkin patches because it still feels family run and it isn't crazy busy. We always try out the slides, the straw house, feed the animals, check out the corn maze and of course take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. Over the years they've added donuts, cider, apple slushees, giant barrels to roll in, big tricycles, a playground and much more. This year they added a giant sunflower field which we missed but I've seen pictures and it looked amazing! Leave the crowds behind and try out a true country fall activity.

Everyone commented on the food and said how it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Huber's is forever one of our most special places. A year after our wedding, my husband and I came back for pumpkins and it was here that I told him I was pregnant! Now we can't wait to take our kids here and create more memories.

We arrived a little bit early and had lunch at the cafe on-site, which was pretty good, and then we checked in for our tour. What people may not know is that below the gift shop area is where a lot of the barrels and such are. I think our tour guide's name was Ricky and she was very good, I learned a little bit about the distillery. We had chosen the bottle your own experience, which ended up being really unique. At the end of the tour, we got to taste a few of the bourbons, literally from the barrels, and then we got to fill a bottle from one of the open barrels. After that, we put a sticker/the label one, plus one with our name, and another with the back label. Differentiation was encouraged, although we all put them on standardly except for my husband, who had the four of us plus Ricky sign the bottle, which was fun. I believe the tour was $100 each, and just the bottle itself would've been like $80, so for $20 extra, it was a good deal. At the end of the tour, they let us taste a good portion of their wines and other whiskeys and bourbons; I will say their wines were not that great, unfortunately, though there were two that I liked and purchased. They were very generous with the tastings and I don't think there was a maximum number ... I tasted maybe 1/3 of what was on the sheet, aka open for tastings. Overall I would come back here, although I probably wouldn't need to do the tour a second time (it would be fun to see the rickhouses, though).

GREAT FALL ACTIVITY!…read more Plenty of unique pumpkins to pick straight from the patch yourself. There's also various already picked, and more perfect, squashes, pumpkins, and gourds to pick from at the main building: large, medium, small, patterned, etc. Free parking. Kind staff. 4H Concession stand with the usual suspects along with goat burgers, apple cider, and baked goods. Fun fall activities: mini petting zoo (sheep, goats, cows), corn maze, mini play ground, rides for adults and children, beer garden, live entertainment. Overall, an affordable and pleasant day out!

The corn maze closes earlier than that because it "gets dark in there real fast." Personally I think they should do some sort of haunted corn maze and stay open later, but I'm sure they have their reasons. The patch is your average pumpkin patch. It's fun to roam for a few minutes, but I ended up picking mine from a trailer full. There's a barn with a couple goats and donkeys, and some cute photo props. They also have a hay ride and a little kids train type thing (The rides are an additional cost.) I recommend going when they have live music, because it goes on until 8pm. They have a beer garden, so you can enjoy the evening with music and some beautiful outdoor lighting. Fun for an evening date that's not a far drive- especially if you live on the west side.

Between the classical music and the smell of fresh coffee, the "European-style" atmosphere and super friendly staff actually make me enjoy grocery shopping! Why it's the best: * The Bakery: My absolute favorite part of the store--the smell alone is worth the trip. * Premium Markets: They have beautiful produce and an expansive meat and seafood selection with on-site butchers who really know their stuff. * Specialty & Seasonal: I love browsing their unique specialty items and the festive seasonal displays you can't find anywhere else. * Ready-to-Eat: Their ready-to-eat meals are restaurant-quality and perfect for a night off from cooking. Pro Tip: Don't miss their great weekly specials, especially the "Little Big Meals." They're famous nationwide for a reason--you get a full gourmet dinner for four at a total steal.

If you are hosting a large crowd, it can get a little pricey but it's good. We also often get the Family meal deals for 4 which we like and they provide a good variety from week to week. I also go there with my son occasionally for their daily $5 meal deals. Sometimes we eat in their seating area. Other times we take it home. If you haven't been, you should give them a try.
