I attended a Saturday afternoon matinee and was pleased that I could buy my ticket, a medium popcorn, and a small soda for under $10! The lobby is very spacious. You pay for your ticket and any snacks right up at the counter. They have a good variety of candy available and then three sizes for the popcorn and pop. They also have small bottles of wine available, and some beer too. The theater itself is on the smaller side, but it was just perfect. I had more leg room and a more comfortable seat than I've had in a long time. The seats looked fairly new - they had nice tall backs, and rocked a little. The arms could go up or down. And the space between rows was super roomy and nice. The movie previews started right one time and it was an enjoyable time. The lighting, sound and temperature all made for a pleasant experience.

There are two theaters one the main level which normally wouldn't be a problem but we were unaware they had a second floor since we had never been there before. The movie we bought tickets for, you guess it on the second floor..lol I have bad knees and my brother has cerebral palsy but does walk. We both struggle with stairs but we made it work. My suggestion is if you have issues using stairs do not buy your ticket online. They do rotate the movies so at the 7pm showing our movie was on the first floor. It was truly the most fun and festive movie showing, and I would highly recommend getting the Alamo app to see what is showing in the future. Some movies are better on the big screen, and the Alamo consistently delivers. The menu is also great and I have always enjoyed everything I eat from here. I always try a burger and a new mixed drink, but their loaded fries are A+ and I would advise ordering them! The staff is incredibly kind, and very speedy. In the rare instance that my order has been forgotten, they have been very prompt in correcting the mistake. As someone who is tired of attending movies just to hear chatting and snickering, which I have had to deal with at other Omaha theaters, the Alamo has a strict no-phone, no-talk, no arriving late policy, which I personally feel makes the experience even better.
