My loved one came to Cornerstone's ICU July 14th from the hospital after a tracheostomy. He had brain surgery and had severe issues with his left side. Cornerstone went beyond our expectations. Everyone we came in contact with was very professional and caring. The people treated my loved one as if he was a part of their family. They were patient and extremely attentive. The people here made my loved one a priority. It is because of their hard work and care that he had the trache collar removed and left breathing on his own. Therapy gained movement on his left side and got him standing. Because of their hard work, he is home ready for the next step. They believed in him. My family and I can not thank Cornerstone enough. We truly believe without them our loved one would not be here at home with us. read more

The facility was clean, most of the nurses were helpful or as helpful as they were allowed to be, but Dr. Tricia Punsalan was assigned to care for my husband and she was useless. He was in ICU and she would not give him anything to make him comfortable. I begged her to help him and she wouldn't, she used an excuse that she had to coordinate with other doctors, but obviously she didn't and he was in pain the entire time that he was at Cornerstone which was about 5weeks. I blame her for his death. A man with coronary heart disease cannot survive 5 weeks in pain. read more

CPR class with Donnie. I am so grateful I called this hospital to see if they offered CPR classes. I was in a bit of a time crunch and Donnie was super flexible. He answered my call and responds to texts quickly. The class was very easy to understand and fun. I will definitely be recommending Donnie at Cornerstone for anyone who needs CPR! read more

If I could give them a zero stars or negative I would. Please take it from personal experience and the other 1 star rating. Absolutely this place will promise you everything. They do not communicate at all. My mom went it there and yes was sick but not deathly ill. I begged them to listen and help. I told them I felt like she was literally dying. I asked them about her daily meds for almost 3 weeks. Assured me they were giving them to her. I found out four days before she passed away, that she hadn't her meds at all. They started immediately..but sadly she passed away. I had told them a countless times she had a pacemaker, right before she passed away they asked me does your mom have a pacemaker?? You would have thought at that time, they know she is actively dying..they would have deactivated her pacemaker. No that would have been to easy and made things easier on us. So after she passed away for 20 mins we had to watch the pacemaker shock her as her body was gone. They had to find the Dr with the magnet to deactivate it. Then on her death certificate they put the wrong time of death and the cause is debatable. They told me one thing but put another on the death certificate. At this point I am not sure what her cause of death is. So please be aware of everything going on. The nurses do not take you seriously. The CNAs are about the only thing they have going for them. Social workers are a joke. They put you off and are just as bad on not taking your serious. Just please please if your loved one is there or like us Medicare would not let a transfer out..stay on top of everything. Fight for your loved one. Show up unexpectedly and at different times. Even though I contacted the director over all the hospitals and a director at that facility..I just wished I could have did more and the outcome would had been different. read more

My daughter received Excellent wound care and rehab while at Cornerstone. Previously, she had problems staying out of the regular hospital because they would release her before she was well. Cornerstone helped break that cycle. read more

This is the worst hospital I've ever been in. when you need water or pain medicine at night get ready for Neglect! They will ignore you for hours! Then they will report you as being a bad patient. The CEO came to my room and threatened to kick me out! All because I was mistreated and begging for pain medicine and water. Please believe me when I say it's terrible don't go there! read more

This facility was very professional with every opportunity that was placed in front of them. Staff was very knowledgeable of how to care for patients. Rehabilitation director was very friendly, caring and took time to explain the future utilizing the rehab. Very clean facility. Faculty was very interactive with the family and offered much help and welcoming arms. If you are looking for a facility for your family member please use Cornerstone Rehabilitation. read more

Please note: This is just the start of a review, which will be completed after discharge. When I chose this place for my Mother, there were no reviews on Solara. At lease, I didn't see any. Yelp is my go to place when I want to get what other's experienced.. This was one time I REALLY REALLY needed the opinion of others.. Reviewing a Resturant vs a Long Term facility for a loved one or even yourself, is a totally different ball game..I've decided to do a review, with hopes that it will help someone that's been faced with the dreadful decision I was faced with. The decision of what long term hospital to place your loved one in or yourself for that matter. My Mother was sent to this hospital after having a below knee leg amputation..At this point I really don't know what to say about this place.. It's hard to do a review on a place you really don't want to be in or visit.. Let me just say, it's not always the hospital as a whole but those individuals that work at these type of places that make these long term facilities the absolute worst.. Once she's discharged , I will continue this review. As of now, after visiting her daily & being there over a month plus, two stars is all I have for them. This is a fairly new facility. I've learned, new does not mean better. I will try to be as fair as possible when this review is complete but I'm sure those two stars will remain the same. read more

This place is full of inept, rude, unprofessional people. My mother, who has melanoma and two pulmonary embolisms, was taken by her brother to check into Solara at 5:30 one afternoon. They knew she was coming, but did not have a room ready for her, a bed, or anything else. Almost everyone was rude and unhelpful. When they finally brought in a bed, it was broken. My mother told them that it was hurting her, and they practically called her a liar before someone finally noticed that it was, in fact, busted. They brought her a cold dinner, and when my mom asked them to heat it up a little they took it outside the room for literally 15 seconds and then brought it back in, still stone cold. The nurse then tossed the call button at my mom and said to call her when she was done eating. Mom called, but no one ever came to take the tray. The charge nurse took all of my mother's meds away from her as soon as she got there, and when my mom said she needed a pain pill at 9:30 pm, she was told that she couldn't get any meds after 9 pm. My mom depends on oxygen, and they didn't have anything set up for her to receive it. When they finally set it up, they refused to add water to the oxygen to avoid my mother's nasal passages from drying out. One nurse took a cursory look at my mother's arms and said, "I can't get any blood from you!" in an accusatory tone, like my mother purposely had small veins just to piss her off. There were no walkers available, no one knew anything, and it was a huge cluster. I wouldn't have left my mother in there one night, and neither would my uncle -- he brought her home at 10:30 that night. When he went to get my mom's meds, her extremely expensive topical chemo drug was missing. They finally tracked down a nurse who took it for some unknown reason. Avoid this place like the plague. Don't take your loved ones there. You'll be sorry if you do! read more
