After I called to make an appointment, Amy had called me personally to tell a little bit about how I got injured, where the pain is, and what to bring to the first appointment (shorts, shoes). During the first appointment, Amy went beyond my expectations when examining my knee. She thoroughly explained where the underlying pain is and which particular muscle was most likely causing me issues. To make sure you understand, she uses an app on her ipad which shows you muscle, joint, and tissue groups, so you could see exactly how your injury is causing any misalignment. She relieved the pressure in the knee and within the first 3 appointments, I was completely 100% and walking perfectly. She uses another app which sends you at-home exercises to do on your own which was especially useful in speeding up the healing process. Note, the rooms are quite small and if you are looking for something where you need complete silence, this might not be the best for you. This isn't an issue for me as I can fall asleep pretty easily during the acupuncture sessions. She's super friendly and especially caring!
