I went the other day to see if I needed a root canal, and the staff was amazing. They have top-notch equipment and provide high-quality service. After the consultation, I learned I didn't need a root canal--despite having seen two other dentists who said I did based on X-rays and scans. Their equipment is hands down better than most dentists', or at least far more thorough. I didn't think a root canal was necessary because my tooth rarely hurt, only after eating when something got caught in the cracked tooth. I asked for a consultation, and we came to the conclusion that I didn't need one. The staff is very friendly, and I do recommend them. The only downside is that you have to pay upfront, and insurance reimburses you afterward. You need to have the funds available at the time of service. read more

Because of an infected tooth, I was told that I needed to see an endodontist to determine the problem and whether or not a root canal was needed. I was told that my dentist would send me a list of 3 endodontists to select from. While I waited, I did my own research and asked my dentist whether I could be referred to Cornerstone. The reviews are stellar. The dentist's office replied that they were on the list so I asked that the referral be sent to them! When I called for an appointment, though, the scheduler said it would be almost 2 weeks before they had an opening but that they could put me on their list in case anything opened up before then. I agreed but figured I had better keep searching because that tooth was really in bad shape. Plus this was on Friday and it was right before a 3 day weekend! Within the hour, they called back to say they could fit me in later that same week. Yes! Another half hour later, they called back again--how fast could I get there? I was there about an hour later. They were so wonderful. Everyone from that scheduler to the staff in the office and the specialist were so kind. As others have said, their equipment is top notch. Plus I have real problems getting through dental procedures. They were super-supportive and really helped me get through it. That tooth ended up being cracked and basically "dead" based on a couple of interesting tests (cold and electricity) and the xray. Plus bone loss in that area. So no root canal!! Instead, a round of antibiotics to get the infection under control and I'll be getting an implant at the periodontist instead. It was such a relief to know what was going on. I'm writing this just to add my voice to all the other reviews. Highly highly recommend!! read more

Be weary using this location as they will bill you in full and then turn around and bill your insurnce which is double-billing. They will then turn around and tell you that it is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to rectify the situation. Proceed with caution. The person at the desk and on the phone are incredibly rude and will interupt you multiple times. Go elsewhere. read more

Great experience, My family dentist referred me to Cornerstone Endodontics for an emergency root canal. When I called them, I had an appointment with Dr. George Euler with in 45 minutes. The staff was so caring and careful with my concerns. Dr. Euler explained the procedure in detail and then proceeded with treatment. It was painless and easy. He is a very caring person and wanted me to feel comfortable through the entire root canal. All around wonderful experience, from the front desk staff, to assistants and the Doctor. Warning - They will treat you like a criminal if you don't have money at THAT exact moment. So, Olivia at the Lee's Summit location seems to be the office dictator and apparently whatever she says, goes. When I first called she was too busy talking to someone else in the office and not even acknowledging me on the phone trying to make an appointment. That was just the beginning. Then, she proceeded to give me a ridiculous $3600 quote over the phone for a root canal, then later revised it to be $960. So I show up to the root canal appointment to only be told the tooth needs to be pulled. ( I had already determined that myself 2 months ago). So, the secret code word was uttered around the office.. "So uh yeah, it's just gonna be the 'consultation' fee." it's like they had a secret language. So, after the 'consultation', Olivia demanded $260 for the consultation without giving me a written estimate or an invoice. So, I asked for an invoice.. She said that she could not provide it. So I got up and walked out. She then called and texted my phone 10 minutes after I left demanding now $290.. So I called her out on it and hung up. I then emailed the office to demand for myself the invoice for the 'consultation' in order to pay them by 5pm 10.10.23. They failed to supply that invoice and then proceeded to email and text harass me the next 3 days. They said I committed a 'dine and dash' and that they would be contacting the authorities by noon 10.11.23. (Keep in mind all of this with no actual bill or invoice, just hearsay). So I contact officer Shane Bush with the Lee's Summit Police and he says that it is just a scare tactic. I just wanted to be sure. So they finally gave me the invoice with the added $40 hassle customer tax on it. I paid it just to get rid of these lunatic people who think they are God! Nope. Rude front desk & then got x rays and sent back to get a root canal that I was sent in for and he turned me away because of my anxiety's and past trauma and said he thinks it just needs a filling. Strongly believe he just didn't want to deal with me. $275-300 later I walk out WITH NO root canal done. Few weeks later have my baby, my tooth cracks (same one I need root canal on) then go for a second opinion Dr Ehlers in Sedalia who also tells me I need a root canal done. He sends me to Dr Stamos in Bluesprings/ independence. I had theeee BEST experience there. He was so calm, professional, worked with me through anxiety's, second I raised my hand he'd stop working & give me more numbing if needed. Do NOT recommend going here. AVOID!! Don't be persuaded by their 5 stars, they only have 4 reviews at the Liberty MO location. Negative reviews in Google appear to be deleted. If I could give zero stars and still post my review I would do it. My wife and I were pressured to agree to same-day treatment when all we wanted initially was an evaluation. I was treated rudely over the phone and in text messages and emails. I was about to give up on them and go elsewhere, but Britney initially changed my mind, and office manager Olivia sabotaged that. Combative and rude when I asked questions. Another dentist office collaborated and confirmed my experiences. She canceled my appointment that I had made a week before and after I had driven 30 miles to their office and in need of serious work being done. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she basically told me she didn't have one. They have 3 locations and when you call their office you do not always get the location you were calling into, which is confusing. I think she might be happier in another line of work. Maybe she was just having a bad day, don't know, not really relevant to my need for a good endodontist. I was a bit surprised to see that their office was a little sliver of a building at the end of a mall. If the practice is otherwise good, she is doing a disservice to them in my opinion. I was sent to Cornerstone in Lee's Summit for a Root Canal. I was not at all happy at being hit with high expense right before Christmas. Having not had a Root Canal for years, I was not happy about being miserable from it right before Christmas either so I was grumpy when I got there. I scheduled with any of the Doctors and ended up with Dr. Amy Vermeer DDS. Apparently this was answered prayer. Dr. Vermeer explained everything in detail and answered my questions. The procedure went easily for me. Upon leaving I was given a schedule for possible pain management for the rest of the day and the next. GUESS WHAT! Once the meds wore off when I got home I could not even tell I had Dental work!!!!! I NEVER had pain or any kind of discomfort at all which completely blows my mind. Dr. Vermeer was great and will see her again if needed. Certainly not the experience I remember from years ago. Apparently Root Canals have come a long way and it helps to have a good Doctor doing it. THANK YOU DR. VERMEER AND STAFF. Sorry I was grouchy! Happy New Year! I was referred to this place by my dentist for a root canal. Being a bit anxious about the procedure I was not exactly looking forward to this visit. First off,I want to mention that they were super quick in getting me in for an appointment. All of the staff that I interacted with was kind and personable. They quickly helped to take the "edge" off and made me feel as comfortable as humanly possible. Dr. Sara Wilhite did my procedure and she was a dream. She walked me through everything and let me know that I was her number one concern. While I hope to never have to go back ,IF I (or anyone I know) ever need this type of dental service again I will most definitely go here! read more

If youre like me before anything like a dentist pr Dr. Visit you scour reviews for a little reassurance. Hopefully this will help you. Today I had my second root canal after months of trying to repair two cracked molars. The first time I was referred to Dr Randall due to the location of the tooth and when I realized I needed a second one I had the option to come back to my dentists office or go back to Dr. Randall. Now, I absolutely love my dentist's office, and I recommend any of the dentists there, but Dr. Randall is the only person I wanted to do this procedure again. He's a very kind gentle person who explains all your options and answers all of your questions. If you're a nervous person (like me) he is a perfect fit for your care. Today when he told me "if it was my wife or daughter I would have them get the procedure but it's completely up to you" I believed him. I'm only a couple of hours after this last root canal, but the one in January was 100% painless during and less then 24 hours after I was up and about, feeling fine. The entire office is very kind and gelpful. They all remember you and do their best to make everystep as easy as possible- including payment which was the only truly painful part. 100% would recommend Cornerstone and Dr. Randall to anyone needing a root canal or any other procedure like it. read more

I had my first appointment early Thursday morning on Oct. 26, 2017. My Root Canal procedure went flawlessly. Dr. Holman and his team were exceptionally good. Everyone was welcoming and comforting. Dr. Holman has excellent communication skills (eye contact, voice inflections, content and delivery) and explained each important phase of the procedure. I experienced NO discomfort and the procedure was over in far less time than I anticipated. Dr. Holman gave me his cell# for post procedure contacts if I had ANY questions.
