What comes out of her mouth is a total contradiction of what her husband says from the pulpit. Following a sermon on the absence of judgement and conditions, I walked into her office and she shamed me for having short hair. Said I "had to look like a lady" to go there. Ok. I asked her what kind of haircut would make her happy and she accused me of being "difficult ". Ok. She kept telling me that I looked like a man. And then, with her chagrin smile she asks me if I'm offended. No. I was shuffled out the door while her husband and daughter just sat there and watched. And that's the truth, so help me God. They used to be good people. Mike had an undeniable anointing of God on his life that radically altered my upbringing. That's no lie. The cruel irony here is that HE taught me how to be this person I am today. I am unafraid. I am bold. I can see demons twitch in God's presence. And here I am getting my ass chewed by the other half of his mouth for having short hair?! What? Who is this and who are you now, Lucifer. A lot has changed since my family left many years ago. We left because of Elaine then, too. But back then we trusted that she was a glorified god and left without issue. This time it's different. They witnessed my dilema. They knew what they were doing. It was a calculated move on their part to unload me before I could ever spill the beans on all that I knew. They were doing good until that controlling spirit of pride showed up again. God forbid you tell the truth of it makes them appear less than. If you are afraid to lose them, you're already in trouble with the Lord. Overseer Herbert & Prophetess Beverly Lewis are so warm and welcoming, I immediately felt like a homey-like presence in their midst. The ministry's staff are also very welcoming, friendly and embracing... what runs FROM the heart flows TO the heart & I felt JUST THAT. Service started at 9am and we were out by 10:30a. I can honestly say that that time FLEW by. By the time I was seated, taking part in the worship service, I looked up and we were being dismissed. The song service is on point. They sing praises unto the Lord and all the anointing that's in the musical staff comes right out during the service. COVID precautions ARE being taken. Masks for all attendees and if you don't have one, they provide one for you. Located in a strip mall, there's ample parking. Good thing is that most of the businesses are closed on Sunday, so the parking lot is essentially all for the ministry. Praise God, I plan to return, as this was a lovely experience.

Kind of like many of the homes in the Quarter but walk inside and it's Oh My! Immaculate Conception looks just like the Old World Catholic churches in Europe. And as old as it looks and beautiful too it can also be very modern. For the first time in my life I saw a collection basket with an electronic credit card reader! Don't have cash, no problem! Forgot to bring your weekly envelope with a check inside, no problem! Just whip out that plastic, select your amount on the screen and tap! I about fell out of my pew when I saw that this past weekend. Amazing! An usher told me later that it has increased collections because people don't like to carry cash. What a novel idea!

We…read morewalked by this church multiple times on our way back and fort to our hotel and French Quarter and was sad that it was closed to the public for viewing and prayers. Glad that it was open the last time we made our walk back to the hotel. I live church architectural structure. Very unique and just really amazing to look at.
