It's full of non-judgey people who want each other to be happy and healthy. I've made a lot of great friends here over the years and met the guy I consider to be my mentor. I was baptized here at 13, but turned away. When I was 19, I found Jesus and no one here has ever been as judgmental and condemning as I assumed they were. I have been teaching Sunday school for about two years and I was so happy to have all of those children with me when I got baptized for the real-deal time. Thanks Celebration Church for helping me move past going through the motions of surface level faith! I now seek to reach my community with the gospel and edify the church.

The Metairie location has service on Saturday evening and two on Sunday. They also have lots of opportunities to get connected with others in your age range and/or with the same interests. Celebration has kid/teenager ministries suitable for all age ranges, and my niece and nephew always enjoy attending. If you arrive early, be sure to check out the bookstore and/or cafe for yummy coffee and treats. Celebration Church also have several other locations as well (Kenner, Slidell, Westbank, Mandeville, NOLA East, etc), so you'll never have to drive too far to attend.

Regardless, all the parishioners were friendly and didn't question us being there. The mass was about a normal length for Easter Sunday, and the music was great and more entertaining than normal.
