I went & because of the curvature of my spine I also did the decompression table & PT. They helped me tremendously but I also had a few degenerative discs so I ended up getting the stem cell treatments too after talking to others that had had it done. Even though I was looking forward to some direction from the doctor, the nurse practitioner told me they could not help me and I was never allowed to see the chiropractor. I have no problem with nurse practitioners helping doctors; but, I do not appreciate paying to see a doctor and being weeded out by a nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner directed me to see an orthopedic surgeon who was of no help either. I regretted not being able to at least talk with the chiropractor.
