I've known Chandra Rushing for many years, including when we worked together in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Watching her take a leap of faith, leave DFW behind, and build something special in Honobia has been inspiring. Southeast Oklahoma should be proud. This hidden gem is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery you'll find anywhere, and the drive alone is worth it. Then you arrive, and the food somehow tops the view. The cheeseburger I had was cooked perfectly--easily one of the best I've had in a long time. And every time Chandra posts one of her daily specials, I find myself wishing I lived a little closer. Congratulations, Chandra. Your passion, vision, and hard work shine through in every meal. I have no doubt your restaurant will continue to become one of Southeast Oklahoma's must-visit destinations.
