VERY AGGRESSIVE STAFF! Extremely unprofessional. If I could give a negative score, I would have. Doctor Kristin Murphy at Corner Dental treated me poorly at my visit to get prepped for a crown. When I told her that the numbing shot was excruciating, she said "look I'm just trying to do my job" The tech said the dentist was going to speak to me about potentially having tmj from my recent root canal. The doctor never addressed the issue and when I brought it up, she got loud with me and started to patronize me. Telling me "well I don't know if it's clicking, or locking. If it's one the left side or right side. I don't have background information." I stated that was the reason you were supposed to speak to me about the issue. Not to mention I called 2 weeks prior and never received a call back to address my tmj concerns. I asked if she was okay, as she was seemingly getting more aggressive with me. Also, I'd like to note that Dr Murphy and her staff did not give me any paperwork or verbal instruction following my root canal until after I called and requested the aftercare procedure myself. Kristin Murphy at Corner Dental made me feel threatened and she made me feel unsafe in an environment where I was already nervous about. As a black client I value service that suggests I am valued as a client, and as a person. My first appointment I was assisted by "J" who spoke to be understood; she remained professional and calm and kind. I did not feel rushed while working in my form, nor did I feel I was being punished for not having my form filled out, prior my appointment . Filling out the form in person, turned out to be much easier than trying to fill it out electronically on my phone. I was greeted by Alysce, The dental assistant. I noticed right away that those she did not see a smile on my face, did not change her stance to be friendly and welcoming towards me. Which is something and I respect and look for. Alysce was personable, yet transparent from the time of our greet to the end of my appointment. Aubrey conducted thorough yet careful cleaning, she took the time to express problems and solutions w/n my mouth as she finds them. I received feedback that reflected mindfulness of what patients could afford, that I could apply practically, when searching for toothbrush products! She was engaging yet able to stay on task. It is convenient that they have the x-ray machine in the same room; the rooms are not congested, they are stocked, yet orderly and clean. The doctor I saw was Dr. morocco, who is kind, straight to the point, open for questions, and feedback. He offered feedback based on my questions and concise manner. They are now emailing confirmations, which makes things much easier. I also like getting the paperwork emailed so you can have everything filled out before you arrive. It doesn't take nearly as long in the office now, you get in and out quickly! read more

Everytime i call to make an appt. Or to just ask a dental question I have to wait no less than 20 minutes to speak to a person. I have left multiple messages as instructed on their voicemail. I have never been contacted back. I'm forced to waste 20 min at a time(pray you don't get disconnected)trying to get in contact w them. I had been going to the same Dentist down the street on Navarre for years who I loved and he had to resign suddenly due to medical issues and corner acquired his patients. I am planning on finding a new dentist when I am due in for my next cleaning. The turnover here is crazy. It's like it's a training center for dentists who just passed the dental exam and I am lucky to have the same dentist two times in a row before they leave to start their own practice. Every time I go in I'm told I need a crown. I've spent more with them in the five years I've been going there than I did in 20+ years at my old dentist. The final straw was being told I needed two more crowns at my last cleaning, I said I would call in and schedule them later, and I'm just going to wait until I find a new dentist to see if I even need to have that work done. I'm a little timid during dental procedures and my last dentist would use laughing gas and they don't offer that. A couple of my friends had to have crowns done with other dentists and told me most dental practices know have the technology to do a crown in one setting and not send it out to a lab. Corner sends their crowns to an outside lab so it means coming in for a second appointment (if I do need to have those two crowns I'm making sure the new dentist has the technology to do the crown in one setting). Instead of spending all this money on advertising at 5/3rd field it would be nice if they invested some of it in technology like being able to do a crown in one setting. One time I had to have two fillings done and a dentist doesn't even handle the numbing or the fillings. Someone that wasn't a dentist (I think her title was dental tech) came in and gave me the injections to numb me and the dentist came in and just did the drilling and the tech came back in to do the fillings and ended up running into problems with the one tooth and the dentist had to come back and do the filling. With my old dentist if I ever had to have a filling he was the one that handled the injections and doing the actual filling The only reason I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is their Dental Hygenist. Diane has been with them for a while and is always very pleasant to deal with, unlike most of the other staff. read more
