After waiting at a popular Indian restaurant for over 45 minutes, a local guy suggested we try the Corn Store down the street. What a great suggestion this was!
We started with the country patê with delicious toast and the goat cheese with caramelized onions. Very flavorful cheese and hearty portions for starters.
My husband had the Moroccan Lamb tagine which was absolutely delicious. I had the lamb shank which was succulent and had a nice sauce. Along with the main course we were served steamed carrots, and broccoli which were crunchy and really good. Also included was a side dish of parsnips topped with peanuts and French fries, cabbage and small potatoes. So generous the portions, we could not finish it all.
Though the restaurant was quite busy the service was prompt and very friendly. The locals know what a gem this restaurant is, and now we do as well! When we come back to this area we will most definitely return! If you're in the area, give it a try, you won't be disappointed. read more
