used to stop in here after work before the bus (less than 5 mins walk away)…read more very good value and friendly staff. I went in and ordered my usual (JD) - and for the 35ml measure, this is probably the cheapest bar I know (unless you have a time machine back to the 80s/90s or whenever). I thought i had been undercharged at first. very good selection of spirits. Jukebox has a good selection and most nights it's pumping out rock music - not chart cheese like most others I know. It does have it should you require it however ;-) from what I've seen, it seems to attract an extremely mixed clientele which adds to the vibe.

It has been reported on http://www.theshoppie.com that this venue has closed down for next three…read moremonths for refurbishment... Possibly re-opening in May 2011...
