He's also possibly one of the best at what he does: no matter which procedure you're there for, it's always carried out in a completely delicate and painless manner. He once provided fillings for one of my molars, and when the area was anesthetized, I asked him to do my whole mouth while he was there since I didn't feel a darn thing. Great staff all around which make a visit to the dentist actually pleasant. I cannot recommend Dr. Bourgeois enough.

I had a "cap" filling on my front tooth a while back from him and I left with a very jagged uneven tooth. This tooth quickly got worse as things would get stuck in small pits. I went today to get that tooth fixed and when he was finished, the hygienist handed me a mirror and asked what I thought. The tooth was very uneven which made it look crooked and had extra material jutting out toward the other tooth. I pointed this out to be fixed and he came in shaking his head and scoffing. He said this was getting ridiculous and I can't be doing this. He was angry and made me feel horrible. Needless to say, I left crying and with a crooked looking tooth.

When I made the appointment I told them we wouldn't be getting x-rays and asked if they could still see us, they said yes. I called again a week before our appointment to confirm that we would still be seen without x-rays, they said yes. I called again the day before to confirm our appointment and asked again about the x-rays, they said we would be fine. We both showed up to our appointment and signed a waiver saying we wouldn't be getting x-rays, we were put in examination rooms and the assistant went to get Dr O'Brien. When she came back, she removed the bib and asked us to leave because the doctor couldn't do his job without x-rays. We were immediately escorted out of the examination rooms while saying we would pay out of pocket for the x-rays, but we were told it was "too late for that". They asked us to rebook for a time when we could afford to pay for x-rays.. well, we said we would pay for them right now at this appointment, but they refused saying they didn't have enough time to finish our appointment. This all took place over 10 minutes. We were in and out so fast that we didn't even have to pay for parking. Take your business elsewhere. This office left us feeling humiliated and we will never recommend them or go back.

This clinic is really nice, but I was treated by the two women (Melissa and Valerie I think?) who…read morework there and they're both super friendly and sweet, make you comfortable and all that, but they kind of messed me up by not checking my file for a potentially dead tooth. Valerie did my filling in 2013, no problem there. Melissa is the one I saw this year. I had a deep cavity filled in 2013, had 50% chances of it dying, kind of forgot about the fact they told me that by winter 2015 when intense pain bothered me all winter, and when I went in to get it checked out, they used up my whole 1000$ of insurance on other fillings BEFORE even checking if my tooth was dead even though it said there was a 50% chance that it would be. I went back when the pain was still there and that's when they did the electro test to determine that it was actually dead and told me it would need to either be extracted or get a crown. I was kind of upset that I would have to pay out of pocket, because if they had tested right away, I would've used my yearly insurance on that instead of fillings that weren't pressing at all, but it was too late. I asked if they could give me a discount to remove my tooth to make up for it, Melissa said she'd ask Chiasson since he's the owner, but since it was too close to my sinus for them to feel comfortable removing it in their office, I had to be referred to ECOS anyway and had to pay that out of pocket. I'm kind of hesitating on whether I want to return there now or change dentist because of the whole experience, even if they're really nice... I get that I should've remembered that my filling wasn't guaranteed, but they're the dentists, not me, shouldn't they have checked my file before offering me like 6 fillings on unrelated teeth to the one I had pain on...?
