I love supporting local businesses in my college town. I picked up some delicious pies from Sweet Daddy's Pies, some yummy treats from Bliss Treat Bar, and great soaps from Elephantine Mink Soap Co. as well as a lovely man selling goats milk soap - I didn't catch a business name. Such a lovely market! A must visit if you're from or visiting Tuscaloosa. They run the market on Saturdays and Tuesdays in June & July.

Ethan Gardiner played for us and his voice is amazing! We visited all the vendors and enjoyed ourselves greatly. Fresh fish, fresh veggies and baked goods - we bought all we could from four vendors. And did I mention the gluten free offerings? I saw three vendors with gluten free offerings. We brought home GF pound cake, GF chocolate chip cookies and gluten safe chicken salad. Yummy! We will definitely be back. The River Market Farmers Market is every Saturday morning (7-12) year round. Handicap accessible, grocery carts available. Bring your own bag to help carry things home.... And don't forget your furry companions. We saw several very well behaved dogs either carried or on a leash and one young lady was off to the side doing some distraction training with her chocolate lab. Anyone interested in fresh food, getting out in the fresh air and a healthy experience will be interested in visiting the River Market!

Most of items that were selling are no longer there. Looks like orders are made for profit and not what sells in store. This has been noticeable for months. Store is to bet stocked on what sells and at some locations from a POG from the stores program. Here in Tuscaloosa having stack outs everywhere is doesn't make since. Student are I want it now and it must be cold. Thats why you no longer see big stack outs at major store. Cold sells. You don't bring in a new product without checking with upper management not store employee and the you bring it in cold and replace a slow mover (your product not a competitors). Bringing in a $16.99 8 pk spritzer that they have to take home and wait hour to get cold is a terrible habit and makes it look like your padding your orders. You need a merchandiser not a driver that is in a hurry to get to next location. The merchandiser needs to service the stores best interest to merchandise for good sales of what sales not what your trying to force people to buy. Any questions 205-771-0655

The gas prices are usually a few cents cheaper down the road at the shell, but it's still fun to go in here and get pizza or chicken bites. Totally giving 5 stars.
