I was a little worried we couldn't find a cleaners that we were as happy with as the ones we used in Collierville TN. She is more pickier, and making her happy is no small feat. Personally, I have never had my shirts look any better. Especially around my collars and arm pit area. Very friendly folks!

When I went to pick it up, it had crinkless all over the comforter, that appeared to be hard pressed in. I believe that the crinkles came from shrinkage.I questioned it. Kendall said he had cleaned it himself, and noticed the crinkle but couldn't explain why it looked that way. I left it with him to correct the problem. The next morning I asked him to try steaming it instead of reapplying the cleaning solution, out of fear that the solution may have caused the problem. To somewhat shorten the story, he started trying to deflect the blame away from himself and became very angry when I told him he was feeding me a bunch of bull by telling me. "this was the new thing now, they're making them like that now. It's suppose to look like that after it's cleaned." He also told me, that's the way the comforter was made, as if I was too stupid to know what my comforter looked like before I took it there. He later told me that the top stitching that ran around the bottom of the comforter caused the crinkling over the entire comforter, (bull) and last but not least, he told me the crinkle probably came from the way it had been laid on. Well, if that's the case, he and his employees must have taken a nap on it before I came to pick it up. He (Kendall) got really mad at me because I was challenging him on all the idiotic excuses he was giving me to deflect responsibility for the damage to my comforter. Long story short, when I took my comforter home and started making my bed, I discovered he had removed the decorative cording ( roping around the edges of comforter) and restitched it with tacky uneven hemming. He had no business altering anything on my comforter. I only took it there to be cleaned. He did it out of pure meanness. There's no other excuse or reasonable explanation for removing the cording from my comforter, when it was only there to be cleaned. All of those wonderful comments and good ratings he has. I'm sure are posted by family, friends, and employees, cause I'm sure there are others who have had equally as bad a experience. They didn't even have a steamer, and was probably angered even more because he had to go somewhere and get one to steam the crinkle out of my comforter. This is when I believe he decided to cut the cording off my comforter. I don't know how a cleaners operate without a steamer. Seems like a necessary piece of equipment to me. Also his idea of compensation was, in order for me to get my money returned, I'd have to give him my comforter. I told him No! I should get my money returned along with my damaged comforter, and if you can't fix the Crinkles, you should compensate me so I can replace my comforter. That should be at your expense, not mine. I left a message for him to call me and explain to me why he cut the cording off my comforter. He hasn't returned my call, and I don't expect he will. So BEWARE, His professionalism is only good as long as you don't make him mad. He will purposely destroy your things to get back at you if you make him mad. Even if he is in the wrong. He said I insulted his integrity. WHAT INTEGRITY? He doesn't have any integrity, certainly not any professional integrity. If He was so concerned about his integrity, he would've done right by me by apologizing for his mistake, admitting that it was his fault, and by asking me "what can I do to make this right? Had he done that, I would've respected that and continued to do business with him, but now I will share my experience with everyone I know and don't know.

I bought a new suit at Men's Wearhouse in Jackson, TN to officiate at my grandson's wedding in Austin, Texas. When I returned, I asked some minister friends who is the best dry cleaners in town? One said, "I like West Side Cleaners!" So I took my suit to them and picked it up in time to wear to my cousin's funeral. I hung my new coat in my car until I got to Memphis. When I got to the funeral home, I put my coat on and my wife said, "Oh my! You have a huge 3 inch rip at the bottom of your coat in the center and it really shows. The lady at the funeral home was very accommodating and tried to put it back together with cloth tape. So, the next day, I took it back to West Side Dry Cleaners thinking they might be able to repair it. Was I surprised when the owner, Chris, said material is missing and it was unrepairable. So went to Men's Wearhouse and asked to purchase another $499 coat to replace the damaged one. Men's Wearhouse was so impressed with the owner of West Side Dry Cleaners, Chris Maxwell, for doing the right thing and not passing the buck, they gave him a business discount. Chris dry cleaned the pants at no charge ! Chris tells me he has owned Westside Cleaners for 30 years and they try to take care of their customers. It's rare to find such honorable people who are willing to go to such lengths to take care of their customers! I have now found are two businesses: Men's Wearhouse and Westside Dry Cleaners ! Thank you, Chris Maxwell, for putting the customer first !!!
