I'll start with reviewing the gym: super fancy, all the amenities you could need, all the equipment…read moreis in great shape, AND there are lots of cool things you wouldn't expect to find at a regular gym (um hello warrior ropes). Now on to my trainer Asad: have you ever woken up the morning after an intense workout and thought to yourself "my very existence is causing me pain right now" - but like in a really good way? Yeah that's me after every session with this guy. He kicks my butt in the best way possible. The great thing about him is that he makes working out fun as hell. There hasn't been a single session where we weren't cracking jokes and having a good time. But the BEST thing about him is that he really cares about your goals and he pushes you to be a better version of yourself. I once made the mistake of telling him that my program felt too easy. I have never regretted saying anything so much in my life, because the next day I came in and I was sweating buckets within the first 6 minutes. He's the guy you LOVE to hate. The one you can't wait to swear at under your breath as he's adding more weights to your trap bar, not to ruin your life (as you most likely will be thinking in that moment), but because he knows you can do better. The one that encourages you to push harder and be stronger. The one that makes you go for that last dreadful lunge even as your legs are collapsing under you, because he refuses to let you give up on yourself like that. He's not the trainer you need, he's the trainer you deserve. So he'll kick your ass. Because he knows you can take it. He's a vigilant mentor, a faithful spotter. A great trainer.

Dear Fit for Less, I…read morehave been a regular member for approx. 1.5 years. I usually go to your 700 Lawrence W. location in Toronto. I recently visited your location at Bute and Pender in Vancouver and wanted to share a couple of observations. First, I would like to say the staff in both locations are fantastic and I have enjoyed my experiences in both locations. The Vancouver location was considerably slower and obviously a much smaller gym. I went there on 3 different days and always late morning to roughly noon. I noticed on 2 days that this location had 3 staff working. I could see this from the treadmills which were close to the front desk. I'm guessing an opener, then 2 people coming in later that overlapped for some time. I don't believe I saw more than 12-15 people working out on any of the days I was there. I'm sure it probably pick-ups after school hours with all the kids coming in. In comparison to 700 Lawrence Square that I believe might have anywhere between 100-200 people working out during those times with 3 people usually working. I also know that it is crazy busy after school hours during the week as I often go. The other thing that I wanted to mention was what I noticed with your Vancouver customers. There they seemed to be much more inclined to put the weights and other items back in the proper place, at least at the times I visited. Where 700 Lawrence customers are not as keen for this small upkeep. I'm very glad to hear the reminders on your system to inform customers on how to be a Fit for Less friend by putting their equipment back in the right place. I think this may be a challenge in Toronto. I hope that these small observations are helpful for Fit for Less. Sincerely, Loyal Customer

While coming in the guy who knew i lost my card and allowed me to come in shouted at me while coming in reminding me about the cost of the card when the system was still down. When i asked if i can pay he showed me the post to be patient because the system is down. Then when I told him why he is telling about the replacement fee for losing the card when the system is down and he got mad and started shouting at me to stay or leave. I asked him for the manager phone # and when I called that number was the front desk # and he was answering the phone. Very unpleasant situation.
