The procedure was relatively painless with Dr. Sauer and her staff checking in with me regularly to ensure I was comfortable. They completed the procedure quickly and professionally. I was back at work immediately following. Today was my one-year check in and it felt like walking into the home of an old friend; I was greeted warmly and everyone remembered me. The procedure was successful. This is a practice that cares. They respect their patients and genuinely want the best for them. While I do not wish to have a need to go back anytime soon, I will not hesitate to contact Springhurst Endodontist the moment I need their services.

OAA i had the worst experience ever . these people are not…read moreonest. my dentist refer me to them for root canal . they asked about my insurance and I gave them the information . my insurance was out of net work and they did not tell me. they did a CT scan and charge me $400 and told me that I need another visit to do the root canal and it is additional $1400. when I asked why my copay is so high even though I did another root canal a year ago cost me $200 all together .they told me because you have bad insurance and did not bother to tell me that they are out of network. these people trying to hunt patient and gain as much money as possible and do not care about patient . can't trust them.

She did a very great job on my root canal and kept making sure I was okay and calm because my anxiety gets to me sometimes when I'm having dental work done. She's very sweet and gentle. Let me clarify that this endodontist (Dr. Kelly Walker) nor anyone at this location performed the original root canal. So this specialist was needed to correct a problem that occurred with the original root canal. The experience here was wonderful. Before she started anything, we discussed the anxiety that could occur because of this procedure. She was glad that I disclosed this issue because it changed her procedure just a little. She offered to take short breaks during the procedure, if necessary. I can't believe that there was no pain at all because she numbed me so very well and she was not rough during the procedure. I only felt slight pressure during the entire process (drilling thru the crown, scraping out the infected pulp and cleaning up). Even as the drugs began to wear off, the pain was not excruciating. I recommend this endodontist wholeheartedly.

Dr. Scott and his team confirmed through their X-rays and testing that my root had died ... sigh. I was able to schedule an early morning appointment to come back for my procedure. The team was kind and supportive, which I appreciated because I have a fear of needles. Dr. Scott walked me through each step of the process, which included fair warning of discomfort I'd experience. I was thankful to use my headphones during the 20-30 min procedure. I'll still need to visit my dentist for a permanent cap on the tooth. I'll also revisit Dr. Scott and his team in six months to check me again for any infection. Fingers crossed. I'd really like to return to annual cleanings as the major dental visit of the year. Most visits to him come through referrals from your dentist but he does accept consultations outside of his typical network of dentists. It did take several days to get in for my original consultation.

Sadly I was sent back to his office where he seemed in better spirits than my first visit, 10 months prior. I pointed out how rude he was during my first visit and went over every point with him. Apparently he doesn't like to be corrected. He turned around and wrote my dentist a very catty letter about me lying about things I had said or done while in his office. There was one sentence, at the end of his letter about my problem tooth. I got to see that letter and defend myself to my dentist. I pointed out what I said and did and what I did NOT say or do. A grown man writing such a letter. Sad. Let's hope Dr. Vlahos gets the help he needs.

They were very accommodating, I even received a call from them before my appt to let me know the cost from my insurance if they did move forward with a root canal. I enjoyed knowing before the consulting appt how much it'd cost. Everyone was a delight to speak with in the office and my dentist, Dr Gleis was awesome. Not only did she explain her findings, she decided against the root canal to keep the tooth as is and wants to see me in 6 months if there are changes for a root canal. She asked me lots of questions and made sure we both were on the same level before I left the office. She wanted me to be positive with her choice not to go forward with the root canal. What a relief to be able to go to a new dentist and completely trust them from the first few minutes. She was great and I want be so nervous next time I visit, as a second time client.

Through surgery Dr. Cook removed the abscess and all was well. This summer I started developing a tooth ache over the same tooth every time my sinuses acted up. On Labor Day weekend I was in agony. Come Tuesday morning the pain was completely gone. At my hygienist appointment in late September the hygienist took extra x-rays and did a thorough exam. She and the dentist that was at the practice that day decided there was no dental problem and that it must be my sinuses. In the beginning of December I once again was experiencing an excruciating tooth ache. My dentist, Dr. Renshaw, worked me in immediately. Sure enough the x-rays that day indicated I had an abscess above the root canal again. He prescribed antibiotics and made a referral to Dr. Cook. After our holiday vacation I had my appointment with Dr Cook. Dr. Cook is an excellent Endodontist and quite honest too. I said I was no longer having the toothache and he said that was because the abscess was draining. Upon examination and x-rays taken that day he indicated that his 30 years of experience tells him that redoing the root canal via surgery would not cure the problem. Although there was still a small amount of abscess the true problem was a crack in the root. Unfortunately, the cure is to have the tooth pulled and have my existing bridge redone. So I'm back to Dr. Renshaw to get a treatment plan. Thank you Dr. Cook for being honest about the true situation. 2023/ #11

After I arrived I was taken back to my room and assessed by the dental assistant. She was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. The doctor came in and proceeded to evaluate my tooth. He was able to replace the cap and I had no pain or problems since. I appreciate their quick attention to my needs and were able to fix the problem. A office staff came in with a breakdown of the procedures and costs. She gave me the total and my payment options. The expense was a little more than I expected but it was an emergency so I guess it will all be worth it in the long run. I am sorry I didn't catch the name of the Dr that I saw but he was very young and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

The dentist was so rough with me it caused extra pain, was frustrated with me because i wasnt numbing easily . Sent me home & said he cant help. I got the tooth removed same day from my regular dentist which lets me know he wasn't numbing me correctly and should go back to school . Dr Cook was my forth and hands down second to none the best Doctor I have ever been to. From the cleanliness of his office, the receptionist and the dental technician that assisted him, you will not find any better in the Kyana area. Dr Cook's chair side manner puts you at ease. The root canal was completely painless. Next day there was zero discomfort. Dr Cook is a Navy Veteran and honorably served his country for 12+ years. I'm a retired Coast Guard veteran.
