I was referred out by the VA for a root canal to Dr Christopher Cook of Louisville Endodontics. I have had 3 root canals in the past by 3 different endodonitcs and they were at best 3 stars. Dr Cook was my forth and hands down second to none the best Doctor I have ever been to. From the cleanliness of his office, the receptionist and the dental technician that assisted him, you will not find any better in the Kyana area. Dr Cook's chair side manner puts you at ease. The root canal was completely painless. Next day there was zero discomfort. Dr Cook is a Navy Veteran and honorably served his country for 12+ years. I'm a retired Coast Guard veteran. I was completely at ease knowing I had a brother in arms careing for me. Bottom line if you need an Endodonist Dr Cook should be first on your list. Thank you Dr Cook. Bravo Zulu. read more

There aren't enough available stars to rate this physician. I developed an ache in a tooth overnight. A couple of weeks ago I visited my dentist for X-rays and semiannual cleaning and had no issues. I got an emergency appt with him during which he advised I had a fissure in one of my previously filled molars. I called the Endodontist my wife uses and could only get an appt for nearly a month out. I figured, "a specialist- I'm gonna run into this problem no matter who I call". Long story even longer, my tooth began to hurt the entire left side of my face and it began to swell. My regular dentist gave me a penicillin script which helped a lot but my tooth need attention sooner than a month down the road. The receptionist suggested Dr. Cook. I called and they were unexpectedly extremely sympathetic and gave me an appointment for less than a week away to give the penicillin a chance to work some. Ok, so I get there and the receptionist was warm and endearing. I waited less than five minutes and the dental assistant greeted me and walked me back. She was, hands down the most patient, accommodating, and attentive dental assistant I've ever met. Everything she did or was going to do was explained in detail and performed with the utmost comfort. Then this imposing figure of an Endodontist walks in and immediately sits down and visits with me like I'm the only patient he has today. He was extremely pleasant but not phony. He also explained in detail what he was looking for, what he was going to do to find it and how it would be fixed. I had to have a root canal and it was the most pleasant experience for an unpleasant procedure I've ever experienced. (If that makes any sense) it's been 2 hours, the anesthesia has worn off and my face, gums, jaws and tooth are pain free. Jaws are a little sore from stretching them open so wide but then I have a small mouth. I had a root canal several years ago that took me down for a couple days. This one felt like a routine dentist visit. He's a veteran and a Christian if that has any influence with anyone. It does with me. I was blessed the other Endo guy was too busy to take me quickly. read more

Dr. Cook was able to fix my daughters tooth when we had been turned away by several dentists and specialists. He was great with her and is very friendly and knowledgeable. The office it's self is clean and updated. read more
