To make matters worse, I was hosting a birthday party the coming weekend and had so much to do. I was trying everything to get back my mobility... stretches, cbd oil, back roller, mobility ball, ice, heat, pain cream, rest, but nothing was working and I was in tears from desperation. It can be a frightening feeling when your freedom of movement is slipping away before your eyes. I didn't feel comfortable driving the car and could barely bend down at all. I had to do something or cancel the party, so I found Dr. Burr's reviews here. I'm not really a chiropractor person, at least I wasn't, but I liked that they relied on teaching exercise treatment therapies as well as adjustments, because my other experiences with chiropractic seemed like they were a repeating RX for more and more visits. I wanted a solution and things I could learn to do for myself. I also liked that he had a relationship with Applied Fitness Solutions, (AFS) where I have a membership and who I trust. Mitch was so compassionate and nice on the phone, and is so nice to work with. God bless them, they got me in the same day and I was able to start implementing the exercises Dr. Burr showed me right away. He explained my issues so well and was very personable but so clearly a professional. He really understood where I was at and knew what to do. I also purchased a lumbar pillow that helped train my spine to return to where it needed to be. I appreciated that they didn't push the purchase of this hard, and showed me how I could also use a towel, but I have to say the pillow does the job so perfectly, is comfortable, and doesn't slip that I'm really glad I bought it. It definitely made a huge difference in my recovery. It turned car trips into therapy. Two days later my pain had so improved!! I had a follow-up visit this day and Dr. Burr expertly assessed my progress and told me what to do to take my recovery further. I never imagined I could feel this better this quickly. I did the exercises frequently and they strengthened me and corrected the problem. Dr. Burr did give a great upper back adjustment as well. I'm still amazed at how fast I improved. Dr. Burr said that early treatment was key to bouncing back so quickly. I'm not out of the woods yet, but I just need a few more visits... not perpetual visits! I'm functioning and mostly comfortable. I'm so happy to share this as my success story! The party is tomorrow and it's totally happening, and I'll be able to enjoy it fully! My husband was amazed as well when he saw how miserable I was (my family had to do so much for me!) and he is going to see Dr. Burr for some back pain he has been struggling with for a while. He wasn't a chiropractor person either lol. If you have pain and are looking for real lasting help, I can't recommend Dr. Burr highly enough.

Because I had an existing well-known established chiropractor that I had been seeing for 25+ years, who is absolutely fabulous, I walked into this place very skeptical with all the guards up and thinking there's nothing this new place would be able to give me. But when I say walked, I really meant shuffled and stumbled because I was bent over in so much pain with every step. Without going into detail about my condition, I was depleted, in tears and easily agitated because of the nerve pain that I was experiencing. But when I walked out, I was eternally grateful for Dr. Adam and his team. Not only was everyone so professional and pleasant and the place was super clean. But what really stood out was the 1-1 interaction with Dr Adam and especially with Taylor, his assistant, with her empathy and support I felt seen which is important when you're already in a vulnerable state. Moreover, the quality of the care that I received was so exceptional that when I walked out of their office all I can say is I felt like I had a new body. He did some stretches and movements of my knee and found my IT bands to be tight running down my leg and connected to my knee. Then we did some stretches I could repeat at home. It was instant relief! ABOVE AND BEYOND! The Guy actually had me record him doing the stretches and explaining what the stretch did and what i should be feeling thru the stretch. Dr. Greggory explained everything very thoroughly which i really like and appreciate. He came off like a personal trainer stretching and explaining. Just like you would brush your teeth every day, you should do spine exercises to keep your spine healthy. Weekly or bi-monthly adjustments from chiropractors help align your skeletal system which controls your nervous system and pain responses. Over time, this helps relieve stress and pain. As a patient, I see Dr Mike about 3-4 times a month, consistently for about 2 years. I also am very active and in general, try to do a lot of self-care like yoga. I also eat well, as best as I can. All of this contributes to managing my back pain. I can't say 100% (no one can) whether you will get rid of your back pain. But seeing a chiropractor will help with spine education and manual adjustments move the healing process along. Also, it helps improve awareness-- you have to do your part as well-- whenever i am slouching at the desk or not bending my knees to pick up sometimes, I am a lot more aware and auto-adjust myself. The office is great. Both Dr Mike and Margaret (Chiropractic assistant) are very knowledgeable about insurance and are very helpful. FYI ultimately its your responsibility to check on your coverage but they do a good job pointing you in the right direction. Out of the multiple chiropractors Ive been to in 8 years (I've moved a few times), this office does the best job with on-time appointments. They really try their best.
