Kind of like going to a good friend's house who just happens to be a fantastic masseuse. The massage itself was perfect. I indicated a need for deep pressure, as many places go light. This always has the potential to backfire, though, as "deep pressure" for one part of the body will be different than another. At Cambria Wellness the treatment was intuitively perfect throughout -- adjusting to more intensity on stubborn shoulder muscles, less push on tender calves. From the very beginning Wendy, Amy, and Ryan have done their very best to help me regain use of my arm and shoulder after an accident I had this past summer. They are very in tune to their patient's needs, and are excellent at answering any questions you may have regarding your therapy. The team encourages you to step out of your comfort zone, but not in a way to where you would injure yourself. When I started my therapy over a month and a half ago, I had very serious doubts on what physical therapy could actually do to help me with my injury; I worried that my arm might not ever get better.
