Dr. George performed surgery and now the glaucoma is under control. He is a warm and caring person who will spend as much time with you as you require. The down side of this is that you could have some wait time, because as I said, if you have something that be taken care of during your appointment, he will do it then if feasible. But the wait is worth it. I would not have it any other way.

The doctor suggested I just get the single vision regular lens, because the other types might cause halos around lights, but he didn't say why I was not a good candidate for them as opposed to other people. As it is I am thinking I would have been better off waiting longer to get cataract surgery since the thing I was expecting didn't happen which was better distance vision for driving. Instead I now have to use glasses for close up vision and it's not very satisfactory. In fact it's not near as good as my natural near vision was.

HELLO... I'M HERE (hand waving in the air- that part just for fun but you get the picture). LeighAnna (sp) was awesome with explaining along the way what she'd be doing and why. Then I go to another room and wait 32 minutes for the doctor. While his 'bedside' manners are exemplary, I think that his doting on each patient is what poses the delay. BUT MIND YOU, I LIKE HIM and when its your turn for the extra care, it feels good. Then next... years ago I was seen at this location and purchased a top notch pair of unique eyewear. Bummer! They no longer carry that brand. I'm disappointed but oh well, change is inevitable. Do I recommend, Total Vision in DeBary- yes! But next time, I'll schedule when I don't have to return to work.

While appointment times can be a challenge, OFP makes it a point to try and find the earliest appointment possible at the most convenient times the patient. They're excellent about referrals and followup care, and are very good at reminding you of any and all future appointments. They're also very accommodating when it comes to paying bills. You won't find a better local doctor anywhere else!

The first…read moretime we waited almost TWO HOURS to be called back, the second one I (her caretaker) was told I could not come to the back with her because I had my daughter and she was possibly sick and "didn't want to get the baby sick" so.. she saw my IMMUNO COMPROMISED grandmother go back their herself.. which come to think of it made no sense because she then just got into my car... And finally, her third appointment that we are five minutes away from hitting the hour mark of waiting to be called back yet again.
