Let's just say I am so glad my old doctor closed because I couldn't be happier with Dr. Torre. Everything about this establishment is professional. I never have difficulty making an annual check up. I had to make a STAT check up due to a concern I had and they were able to fit me in the next day even though they were busy. I really appreciate the staff and Dr. Torre. You know that you sign in, take your vitals, pee in a cup and meet with Dr. Torre. I know I am certainly getting taken care of with the best care. Tip: Make sure you park head in in the parking lot behind and read the signs. The last two rows are for permit only (I've rec'd a ticket there.) So park closer to the establishment and 2 hour parking is more than enough. If you're looking for a change or a new doctor. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Torre. You won't regret it.

I visited this…read moreprovider seeking help for severe perimenopausal symptoms, 50 year old female, including intense mood changes, extreme skin tightness, dryness, and highly painful splitting/fissures in the perineal area. The medical care was deeply dismissive. The provider flatly rejected the possibility of perimenopause or the need for hormone therapy simply because I was still getting my period--a stance that goes completely against modern medical guidelines. Furthermore, when I explained I was experiencing painful fissures, she openly doubted me and told me I was wrong because "if I had them, I would be in terrible pain" (which I was). She only acknowledged the issue after being forced to see them during the physical exam, yet still refused to offer appropriate medical treatment or localized options for the severe tissue thinning. Additionally, the office administration is a safety hazard. I called to get the results of my Pap smear and was verbally told by the receptionist that everything was completely normal. Trusting my gut, I asked for a copy, only to find out my Pap smear was actually abnormal. When I called back to complain about being given a false negative on a cancer screening, the staff member insisted she was correct and said it says right here HPV negative I explained that that was true but the actual pap said abnormal findings. While the secretary did eventually inform the doctor--who called me a few days later to discuss the next steps for the abnormal Pap--the fact remains that an receptionist initially misreported a critical screening result to me. She shouldn't be interpreting results in the first place. Dismissing a patient's physical pain is bad enough, but misreporting laboratory results is dangerous. I highly recommend finding a certified specialist who actually understands perimenopause and runs a safe, professional practice.
