Room was very good. Looks like some remodeling in lobby area. Price was great as well. Can't complain.

This place is completely misrepresented online. I will say our room was spacious and clean, but…read morehere's all the negatives: 1. There are rooms on the bottom floor with broken windows, or windows duct taped on. 2. All interior spaces besides rooms are not air conditioned in hot June, it's a humid, hot mess. 3. The indoor pool in pictures on various sites is almost completely destroyed, filled in, a big mess, and has been for quite a while. 4. The doors leading to exterior don't lock. Anyone can just stroll in. Perhaps this is why common areas have lights barely hanging on to ceiling and look a mess. 5. Not only does the door nearest the stairs not lock, it has a push bar you need too PULL to open and it doesn't even open 90 degrees. Was a mess to get in with luggage. 6. Free Breakfast? Hahaha hahaha. You get 2 pancakes. That's it. Coffee was out, just 2 juice choices and pancakes. Period. 7. Where to eat the breakfast? Good question. Signs all around warning you not to take it to your room, but the only place to sit was in the meeting room, which was filled with boxes and used for storage as well. 8. Guess I should've ignored the signs about breakfast as when I pulled up there were people drinking and smoking near the entrance despite signs all over the place about $200 fines for smoking anywhere on property.

All I have to say is this place is the best it looks nice the workers are very nice and it is worth…read morethe money

Hotel at Old Town was one of my favorite discoveries during a recent Midwest road trip, and I…read morewouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The hotel is located in Wichita's Historic Old Town district, making it easy to walk to restaurants, entertainment, and local attractions. We parked in the complimentary covered parking garage when we arrived and hardly needed the car again until it was time to head to Tanganyika Wildlife Park the next morning. The building itself is beautiful. I loved the restored industrial architecture, exposed brick, and especially the multi-story atrium that fills the hotel with natural light. If you're a photographer, don't miss the chance to explore the atrium and the historical displays throughout the hotel--they're full of character and tell the story of the building's past. Our atrium-facing double queen room was spacious, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. I'm pretty picky about hotel beds, and these were among the best I've slept in. After long days of sightseeing, it truly felt like coming home each evening. The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure guests had a great stay. That kind of hospitality is something you remember long after you've checked out. Breakfast included both hot and continental options, along with fresh fruit and juice, making it a great way to start the day before exploring Wichita. If you're looking for a hotel with historic charm, modern comfort, outstanding customer service, and an unbeatable location in Old Town, Hotel at Old Town checks every box. It's more than just a place to stay--it became part of my Wichita experience, and that's the highest compliment I can give.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the open atrium gives the hotel a unique feel you don't find everywhere. One of the biggest perks is the location. You're within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and things to do in Old Town, making it easy to explore without constantly driving. I'd definitely stay here again on a future trip to Wichita.

Gas stations, restaurants, fast food and other hotels close by. 1st night we noticed there was a little problem with the fridge and toilet. We were moved to another room right away. After we got home (8hrs away), I realized I forgot my Tablet in one of the rooms we were in. I called in a panic. Spoke to 3 of the clerks and the manager who took the time to look and Send it back. I still changed my passwords because of the hackers. Took 5 days later. But I am amazed how the staff, and management found my Tablet (shipped it via UPS), back to me free of charge. No damage at all!Nicest bunch of people I ever met while on a road trip. The hotel is being renovated so I hope the staff will stay on because we would love to stay here again! Can't wait to see it when its done. Pet Friendly Too. Disliked Breakfast wasn't much to look forward to. Area was dark and gloomy. Not a lot of variety or choices. No eggs, bagels and cream cheese, coffee condiments and or juices BUT it's most likely due to COVID-19 & there weren't many guests in the hotel. There is a McD's next to the hotel if you prefer a fuller hotter breakfast. Or go have a real sit down meal at the restaurant on the other side of the highway.
