I really walked in there super disappointed about how upon entering, they looked exactly like Alvin's Island and $5 beach store... But then you go past the cashier counter and VOILA actual souvenirs I wanted to acquire was there. The only conundrum I had was choosing which sign I wanted to purchase and add to my abode's interior! Couldn't decide between the 2 I had at hand after much deliberation. So... I bought both for a grand total of 40.02 Cashier also was kind enough to tell me that the Florida printed surf board's pedestal was detachable. Making transporting easier to put away. read more

My husband and I have vacationed here for the last 4 years and love FWB, Destin, and OKALOOSA ISLE! Well, we went here today looking for a sweatshirt for me. Found one that I liked. The original price tag said $49.99 but had another price tag on top labeled with an orange sticker that said $37.99. Now, I used to own my own retail shop. The orange sticker on top is a sale price. Ok. I get that. I was willing to pay their sale price. We went to pay at the register, and the woman checking us out tried to talk us into buying an iron on t-shirt from the many themes displayed on the walls, that would only take a short time to make for $19.99 each. We declined. As she was ringing up our sale, she also said that if we left without buying "said t-shirt", the price would change. We didn't take the bait. Then she said that the regular price is $40, and if we came back again soon, she would probably still honor the price of $19.99 for an iron on t-shirt. Come on! Does she earn a bonus for every iron on that she sells? We already said no.... She ran our credit card and handed us our purchase and credit card back. My husband asked, "Don't I need to sign for it?" She said, no. We returned back to our vacation condo and looked at the receipt. It said $46.70. No tax, just $46.70. Even with 7% tax, that is more. Not happy. Feeling SCAMMED! Called the store. Stated politely that we were just in the store and purchased an item marked $37.99, and we were charged $46.70. Their response was that they charge a 4% fee for using a credit card and that it is posted in the store. My husband said, "Oh, well, we won't be back." Even so, the math still didn't add up! I know that it wasn't a HUGE difference in price, but we only bought one item. Just want to give a heads up to other shoppers....what if you were to buy multiple items? You're on vacation... Maybe you don't know to pay attention to your charges or receipt? I never had this experience from any other shop in the Fort Walton Beach/Destin area and will NEVER shop here again! read more

I had went there from seeing the shirts in the window and on top of the walls on displays. I had asked a man in there what the prices were to get one of the shirts stamped and he had explained that they were $29.99 and I was like okay thank you I'll keep it in mind. So I walked around a little more and found one of the labubu keychains that were 9.99 I had grabbed one and planned on going to the register and just buying that. As I'm at the register the man asks if I decided to get the shirt and I had said no I decided against it and he explains that he is willing to sell it to me for $24.99 and I was like oh no that's okay I'm going to look around a little more and If I don't find another one like it I'll come back. He then says that he'll sell it for $19.99 and after explaining that i appreciate it but im okay, he is still trying to get me to buy the shirt so i agree on it for $19.99. He then tells me my total was $42.39. I don't think too much of it until I was thinking about how weird it was considering it should've only been about $32 Including tax. I didn't recieve a receipt and had paid $43 for something I didn't even want to buy in the first place. I recommend not going here because they'll take advantage of you and try to sell you something not worth the money. Especially if you're a young teenage girl. It was extremely sketchy. read more

I just went in this store. Walked past three staff in three different parts of the store and nobody said anything to me. Shirts look cheap and over priced. The worst part of this store was the shirt posted in the window of Donald trump flipping everyone off. read more

We had driven by this place twice and finally decided to stop to look for souvenirs at one last place on our last day down here. The selection was fair and no one pestered us while we shopped. We haven't been to enough places down here to say anything one way or another about the prices at this place compared to any other "trinket shop." Nope, my issue arose at checkout. A man rang us up and no sooner did I sign my receipt...he vanished like a fart in the wind. Only problem? He never gave me back my card. I never leave any where without checking if I have the dang thing but it wasn't to be found. Some other associate behind the counter realized what he had done, apologized and gave it back. Second issue? He specifically told me my total was $89, my receipt states $92.44 but since it's not itemized...fool on me. I wasn't going back in there and won't step foot in that store again. We have friends who come down here every year...we'll make sure we tell them too. There are too many other places selling the same stuff who'll give you back your debit card back in their empty store and and itemized receipt to go with it. read more

I was one of the many people who fell victim to this tourist trap. As soon as we got there this one woman kept asking us if she could help us find something. The whole time we were there they wouldn't leave us alone. One of the other things I noticed while walking around is that the prices are extremely high. Many of the things in there they sell other places for cheaper. We bought a few things and went to the register to pay. The whole place was sketchy but one of the sketchy things about the place was when they gave us our receipt it had no prices or items on it, only our total purchase. It was almost 90$ for 2 shirts and a little sticker. Overalll this place was sketchy and overpriced, If your looking for a good shop go to "Alvins Island" that's not even 4 minutes down the road. read more

I visited this store today, 17 APR 22. We rarely buy tshirts on vacation, but I liked the brand of shirts they had. As soon as I walked in I was asked if wanted to help-said I was just browsing and continued to look around. (Thought that was nice customer service). But not 2 mins later the same lady asked again if we needed help again as my husband picked a few items to show me. No, we're fine again. Now I'm noticing she's following us through the store. As I found the section of shirts I liked I picked up one to see what it said-mind you it was not displayed anywhere. I like it and reach to grab my size and again the same lady is standing behind me and over me as I'm kneeling-upset that I had picked up a shirt. She asked if I needed help again and I stated "No, I just wanted to see the shirt and grabbing my size". She got upset and said I asked you if you needed help and now you're digging through shirts. I said they are labeled and it's not hard to find. Mind you the store is relatively packed, and there kids dropping entire baskets of things but this woman is following me around. She immediately takes over as I had started to fold the dirt I wanted back up and was clearly annoyed with me. At this point I aggravated and annoyed by the entire experience and just left. I can find an overpriced shirt at another store without being harassed. Never write reviews but wanted to share the experience. Shop somewhere else and support another local business. read more
