    Huli huli chicken
    Shelley V.

Coral Kingdom is a food counter and souvenir/gift shop located by Kualoa Ranch. You'll see a man roasting the chickens fresh outside in the front. You place your order at the counter and wait for your number to appear and grab your order then a seat. They have tables inside and outside. There are also restrooms inside. The Huli Huli chicken is so tasty. The marinade is flavorful and the sauce for dipping/pouring adds even more flavor. The macaroni salad is tangy and balances out the sweetness from the Huli Huli chicken. The service is great and you can be in and out quickly. There's plenty of souvenirs to look at after you eat or while you wait for your order. Coral Kingdom is a great spot to stop at while you're driving around Oahu.

In Kamehameha Highway. Restaurant has an extension of gift shop. We saw this place everytime on our 2 trips in Oahu and we finally stopped by to try them. It did not disappoint. Service is pretty quick to order but can take 10 mins for your order to arrive. The cashier is not friendly at all. Which is odd to find in Hawaii because they are mostly welcoming, not this particular guy. Inside seating is limited. Half of it has a reserved sign, so if you come here on a busy time you won't be able to dine in. Food: Huli huli chicken- is the best! Moist and cooked perfectly! Highly recommended and I gave it a solid 5 stars! Seasoning is well balanced, every bite is enjoyable. This is a must try. Fried snapper- I was surprised of how moist and fresh this fried snapper. It lacks of seasoning but not in a bad way as long as you pair it with the mac salad. Not overcooked. Beef Teriyaki- this is my least favorite. Nothing special, the beef is a little overcooked and became chewy. I gave it a 2 stars. Parking- is not so bad. Restaurant is located on the side of the main street, that can be hard to miss if you have no GPS.

You can't miss this place. The yummy huli huli chicken is grilled right in front of the Coral Kingdom shop on Kamehameha Hwy. There is lots of parking and once you get out of your car, you can smell that huli huli chicken. You enter the gift shop which is filled with all sorts of trinkets, clothing, accessories, jewelry and Hawaiian souvenirs. There is a food counter where you order your food. Huli huli chicken isn't the only thing on the menu. There is garlic shrimp and sautéed battered fish to name a few. But of course the huli huli chicken is the highlight of the menu. The cashier who took our order was super friendly. In fact the sales associates were all so friendly and greeted everyone entering the shop. There is indoor seating which is nice. As for the food, it was delicious. We had the huli huli chicken plate and the fish. Both were tasty and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Of all the years I have lived here I finally stopped by and had lunch. I don't know why I haven't eaten here sooner but I will definitely return.

Great place for Hawaiian food on your way to Kualoa Ranch. If you like chicken and rice this is your spot. Their fire-roasted huli huli chicken is delish! The chicken itself is lean, moist, and the skin is cooked nicely with no fat. The half chicken huli huli plate comes with rice, huli dipping sauce and macaroni salad. You can spot this restaurant from the road where you'll see chickens roasting on a spit in front of the restaurant. If you don't like chicken they also have shrimp dishes. There's only a few places on the island that offer fire roasted huli huli chicken, so if you're in the area or passing by, make sure to make a pit stop!

I was intrigued by the Hulu-huli chicken being cooked outside while driving up the east route to North Shore and decided to stop into to Coral Kingdom. I am not a huge shrimp fan, but something told me I had to try it. It did not disappoint! The flavors were amazing and the shrimp tasted so fresh! There was also a spicy kick to the sauce. It was paired with some mac-salad and hot rice. Such a nice treat on a rainy day. I will definitely make a stop here next time I'm passing through! The service is fast and friendly, it was more of a counter service type place. There is ample seating inside and outside.

We stopped by here after visiting Kualoa Ranch, mainly to try the Huli Huli chicken since my friend had highly recommended it. The place has both a restaurant and a gift shop, so you can browse around while waiting for your order. We decided to get a half chicken to go. The skin was perfectly crunchy and chewy, which I loved. The chicken itself was tender and moist, but unfortunately, it lacked much flavor on its own. It really needed to be paired with the sauce to bring out the full taste.

I accidentally discovered Coral Kingdom while driving around Oahu a year ago. It honestly doesn't look like a place I would usually eat; the space itself is mainly a gift/jewelry shop with a counter inside. But once I parked and smelled that fresh food outside on the grill, I knew I made the right decision. I was happy to be able to visit again this year, and found the food to be as delicious as I remembered. I opt for the spicy grilled shrimp, which is not so spicy that it loses flavor. Last year there was only outside seating at picnic benches and a few small tables. This year the seating inside was open. Service is always quick, and there is plenty of parking.

I've literally driven by this place a hundred times and finally decided to check it out. Coral Kingdom is a huge gift shop with huli huli chicken that is smoking on a massive grill outside. We ordered two plates of chicken which came with macaroni salad and the sauce on the side. The chicken was pretty damn tasty, albeit slight dry in places. The sauce was really good-- wish I had more of it. They also have beer which is a plus. One star deduction for the outside seating area with the most aggressive "top gun" dive bombing flies I've ever encountered. It was hard to eat with one hand while simultaneously swatting flies with the other. Pro Tip: Take it to go and find a nearby beach with a breeze and a better view.

Best Huli Huli chicken on the island! We all enjoyed it and glad we found this place. Nothing like it nowhere!

This place is so underrated, but for me they have the best huli chicken ever. I tried a lot of huli chicken food trucks out there, even in Maui and this place is still the best for me. The only problem is so many flies when you're eating outside.. it's self served.

Marcus from KBOS recommended this place after we spent the day out at the Kaneohe sandbar. Happy we stopped by for the huli huli chicken and shrimp plate. The sauce for the chicken was delicious, and the butter with garlic we kept dipping and licking the shrimp with the leftover and putting it in our rice. Parking is also available at the back of the building. Great eatery near Kaneohe on the way to Kualoa.

My friends and I visited Hawaii for the first time October 2022 and after we visited Kualoa ranch we decided to stop here for lunch and we all loved it! So much that after my Japan trip a few days ago I had a layover in Honolulu for 14 hours me and my girlfriend decided to drive up and eat here because of how much we liked it the first time and sure enough it was just as amazing as the first time. Everybody is so friendly when you walk in, 100% recommend. Food was perfect, and there is plenty of space to eat as well as do some shopping for souvenirs.

There's lots of parking in this structure which makes it ideal to run errands here but why not 5-stars? Couple years ago they repainted the parking stall lines and decided to make the stall narrower which makes it frustrating at times to park. You will need to pay extra attention, especially when a large number of patrons come to KBSC with trucks and vans. This makes it challenging to park here and many times will witness cars either hugging the lines or clearly pass the borders. KBSC is still going strong with so many options to shop and run errands with lots of parking which makes it a great place for locals and visitors.

For future reference, this specific event was held near the Mililani Barber Shop. The person in the "Cotton the Bunny" suit must've been suffering in there because the bunny hardly moved from the chair, barely turned its head and couldn't be bothered to interact with people, let alone wave hello or goodbye. We lined up for their Easter egg hunt which was divided via age groups. We followed the leader to another area of the shopping center and were instructed to visit each shop that had a specific symbol displayed in the storefront. Many businesses were generally too busy with regular, paying customers to be bothered by the event goers (which is understandable). However, we visited a salon that went all out and placed eggs all over their establishment. (If I'm not mistaken, I believe it was LUXE Salon). They set time limits and had a set number of kids enter for each "session." So awesome! There was a very long line for the pony ride and we were cut off when we were almost to the front of the line. How disappointing, but no bother! The petting zoo had bunnies, chickens, goats and even a pig! Also, there was an area where kids could go into the fenced section to pet the chickens. All in all a great time! Highly recommend this event!
