We have been in our Henry Walker (Coral Canyon) home for 1.5 years, here in Washington, UT. Our dream home turned into one disappointment after another both in customer service and product. Very disappointing appliances ( Even with the upgraded $4,000 ) package we purchased). The fixtures provided are embarrassing. The surprises along the way have been anything but pleasant, including just this week. Gutter drainage from one of our roof drains cracked and needed replacement, digging up the corrugated pipe to the first connection I found it duct taped together ( buried in dirt and rock ). After all our challenges we have faced with what we could see, now we have to be concerned about what lies behind walls and other plumbing issues under ground. Bottom line, after being here and meeting many Henry Walker/ Jack Fisher home owners like us, I have yet to find many ( I am being generous here ) that are pleased with their experience with this builder.

You can read my previous post which discusses the numberous issues we endured while in construction as well as the less than lacking customer service. We finally closed on our home in March of 2016. Jack Fisher basically managed a Certificate of Occupancy and forced us to close on a home though it was FAR from perfect. The back sliding door still needs to be replaced as it was broken. The French office doors still need to be replaced as the boards are wharped. My 4 door Honda Accord wouldn't fit in the garage without blocking the garage door from closing...and that was even pulling the car to touching the stairs. So we had to put our even smaller car on that side of the garage and then remove the railing to the stairs so we could side step in to yet into the house. Two of our clothes closets, one being the master walk in closet, doesn't fit standard sized hangers so we will have to pull out those shelves and hanger rods and customize the closets. Our punch list is still in progress though we have finally determined many of the action items will never come to completion. The best part, since I saved the best for last, is my husband and I received a Statement of Lien on our house due to an outstanding debt by Jack Fisher Homes. Not completely sure how this happened or how we closed on a home that had a Lien placed a few days earlier than closing. Its been a nightmare to say the least and it just keeps getting worse.

The ongoing harassment (monthly inspections) and lack of common courtesy was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Not to mention, their actions were illegal! In short, my college son moved to attend Utah Tech. I co-signed and rented him a fully furnished 3bdrm/2bath. My son was not present during the initial renting phase; I handled everything myself in person. PM was aware of our plan to add two roommates in the coming months. I understood they would need to complete an application to be added to the lease. A few months later his roommates arrived and went into the office to be added to the lease. They were immediately declined an application and told they would not qualify. I'll spare the outrageous details but disclose this fact: they were 100% discriminated against based on age, race, and religion. They even told me my son's girlfriend could not be added to the lease because they are not married. When I confronted the legality behind these actions they offered to let us out of the lease. While that was not a solution, I immediately moved my son to another home because it was clear they would never be treated fairly. To add insult to injury, they kept my entire $1900 deposit after I paid professional cleaners, who detailed the home and professionally cleaned the carpets, $1000. They inflated the cost of alleged missing and damaged items to no end. They treated us like trash! It was so bad that I reached out to a neighbor to contact the property owner, directly. Long story short, the home owners are no longer using RPM. Avoid this unethical, closed-minded company at all cost! I should be taking legal action but its not worth my time or energy.

Read your lease agreement there's a lot of bs in that. And yes I've also had bad experience with Shauna being rude and unprofessional.

I've been working with David Ellis and The Agency of St George for a couple of months and I can't…read moretell you how great of an experience it has been. I was originally looking for a lot to build a home on but we have dogs. We wanted a lot with some privacy and a yard for the pups. We were having a hard time finding the right lot and started looking at homes. David knew we really wanted to build and even though we found some houses we where interested in he knew we really wanted to build. So instead of taking the easy route and pushing us towards a house he actually kept looking aggressively to find us the perfect lot to build on. He could have made 6x the commission if we got a house but he wanted to do what was best for us. There aren't very many people in this industry that would do that. He was even working while he was on vacation with his family. If you ever need a realtor that will put your needs first, work hard and is someone you can trust, David Ellis is your man.

From start to finish the assistance I received has been well informed, helpful, patient and effective! We started off with his correct timing and pricing. From there, David was very helpful in staging the house to highlight its best features, and he helped me select the perfect paint color to update and freshen the great room and loft. He is incredibly well connected in finding qualified home services at a fair price who actually show up. David hired a professional photographer who made the competition look like amateurs. With the photos, I got approximately 150 "likes" on Facebook. As I watched listings on online real estate sites, my home listing consistently out-performed other online house sales in both "viewed" and "saved as favorite." When the prime selling season arrived in May, David tweaked the listing so all "Favorites" got an updated email. BOOM! The next day we got an offer. From there it was a bobsled run to closing. When it became clear my knees were buckling under the weight of moving, cleaning, and satisfying all contract conditions, David helped me line up professional moving services who moved me out in four hours. Throughout the process, David recommended several professional service providers, all who were professional, fair, and great to work with. When the sale closed, my house was first to sell in the subdivision, even though it was the most expensive house. This is the 2nd time that Sotheby's International has sold my house FAST despite being the most expensive house in the neighborhood. When it comes time to sell or buy a house, I would absolutely recommend David Ellis and his staff. They are consummate professionals.
