Absolutely worst office experience ever! The Doctor may be good but the office manager is super…read moreaggressive and only cares about billables. She wants to fight and win arguments while scolding you about why you are wrong without stopping to breath and listen to what you are saying. Avoid this place like the plague if you enjoy being treated like a human being. The medical coverage from my auto accident is 10k and it's insane that the office manager treat people in this manner. They just lost the ability to file their claims against a 10k disbursement amount. If this woman is in charge of practice finances they are in deep trouble. Doctor what patient do you want? A $35 copay from medical insurance or a client wherein you can bill against 10k in preexisting allotted coverage. As a business owner this woman blew my mind. She was showing off to her staff by scolding me. Absolutely insane. I feel bad for this practice as the MD looks to have really good reviews but this woman is a nightmare. There is a job in consumer collections waiting for her to apply as that better suits her temperment.

I expressed my concerns about it helping but that's where you have to start in this day and age if you're not a sports star. Anyway I was surprised to get a phone call from the Doctor later that day! He wanted to further discuss my hesitancy and offer additional possibilities such as injection of lubricants solution. I advised I was pursuing getting to PT and would consider the injection if PT feels pain is causing inability of function. Would recommend this practice. Dr. Michael Yurubi, D.O. Was the treating physician. I had my doubts as he is not an 'MD' and I am old school but he was knowledgeable and had training under the Miami Heat physician. Finally I grew up in Miami and very aware of this practice. I even went to school with one of the doctors, Keith Hechtman and of course everyone knows Dr Harlan Selesnick of The Miami Dolphins and Heat. So I would trust them for my needs and you should too.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! DO NOT GO!!!!…read more I am updating my previous review of this place... This place is NOT amazing. Matt the physical therapy assistant has amazing skill in what he does, BUT management is deceitful. I've recently received a nice bill after management confirmed prior to my first session that they were in my Healthcare Network and I only needed to pay a $50 copay. I should've verified this with my insurance, but I thought I could trust them. The best part is they collected $50 per session for a total of 12 sessions and did not tell my insurance that I paid the copay. Additionally, they excluded my payments from the bill they sent me. As for the actual practice it is NOT recommended for the following reasons. First, your first session will be with a physical therapist who isn't a permanent therapist at the location. He was clear that he was just there, because they have no one else. Additionally, the physical therapy schedule he prescribed was not followed. He clearly explained to me what the assistant would be doing with me, but when it came to my actual sessions were basic. 10-15 minutes with the electronic pulse massager, ultra sound, and a 10 minute massage. They charged my insurance $245 on top of my $50 just for that! keep in mind you can buy your own electronic pulse massager for $20 on amazon and an ultra sound machine for not too much more. It's absolutely ridiculous! On my last session I expected to receive a post therapy plan, because the physical therapist at the beginning told me I would receive one. All of that was crap. They did one last massage and told me to just go start running. This place is ONLY interested in taking your money and that of your insurer. DO NOT GO! Since I have received my bill I have called them twice and was told I would receive a call back. Since my insurer didn't pay the ridiculous $245 x 12 sessions, they sent me the bill. Guess what.... They haven't called me back. I've filed a complaint with my insurer and hope this post keeps people away. Go somewhere that will invest in your body and your health. These people will not make you better, you won't get your mobility back, and they'll send you a bill after lying about being in your network. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! DO NOT GO!!!!

English version I had hip osteosynthesis surgery on April 1st after a sudden fall while doing Toes to Bar during a CrossFit workout. I lost grip with my right hand and fell hard to the ground, resulting in a partial femoral neck fracture. As an athlete, my biggest concern was recovering fully and safely so I could return to training. I began rehab with PT Gabriela Rodriguez on May 1st at South Florida Rehab and Training Center, and from day one I knew I was in the best hands. Gabriela has been essential to every step of my recovery--she is professional, dedicated, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable. Thanks to her personalized and progressive approach, I've regained mobility, strength, and confidence in my body, and I'm well on my way to returning to CrossFit when I'm ready. I also want to highlight the entire team: Gabriel Carvajal, the CEO & DPT, is always present and truly attentive to the patients; David Felipe, the VP & lead physical therapist, whose expertise and leadership are reflected throughout the center; and PTAs Nico Antido and Juan Viviescas, who have been incredibly supportive and dedicated. In addition, the front desk team, Gaby and Alexa, are incredibly professional, kind, and well-organized. And we couldn't continue with our therapy without our dear Naty, who goes above and beyond to get insurance approvals for our sessions. She is efficient, dedicated, and truly appreciated. If you want to get your healthy life back this is the right place. I wholeheartedly recommend this center, especially to those seeking a thorough, guided recovery with a human and athletic focus. They are truly an exceptional team! And to top it all off, they even have a wonderful mascot named Bandid--lovingly known as Chichi! That warm and friendly atmosphere makes the experience even more special. I 100% recommend them!

This is not a cookie-cutter operation; they take the time to address your specific needs and never rush the process. I've been treated at least 4 times over the last 15 years for different ailments, my entire family has relied on them at one point or another. They are, without a doubt, the best I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, there have been times when my health insurance did not include them as a provider, and I HAD to go elsewhere-- nothing has ever come close to the level of care and expertise they provide.
