She looked at my MRI of T1-2 and told me there was VERY LITTLE space for the nerve to go through. She contacted a neurosurgeon who suggested getting a different MRI. She showed me just how much room there wasn't at that disc level, yet she still gave me a spinal injection (because my arm had been tingling). I have had many of these types of injections before with no issues! This time, while I was laying on the table, she started to give me the injection, then stopped, apologized stating that she had to do it again. (That never happens). I heard the nurse gasp. When getting ready to go she told me to expect some relief in my arm within 5-7 days. What happened next was a NIGHTMARE!! There wasn't enough room for the nerve to get through T1-2, yet she filled the area with liquid. exactly 5 days later I was in INTOLERABLE PAIN! I felt the pain mid back, behind my scapula and I could not use the arm that she supposedly helped. The pain was off the charts! I had 3 separate ER visits - CT scans and MRI's done. However, I could not get the MRI that the neurosurgeon needed since the pain kept me from laying on the hard MRI table. The injection was June 4th. My PCP tried to control my pain with several attempts of pain meds. Morphine only worked if I took if every 3 hours. An EMS gave me fentanyl in the ambulance and that's the only time I got relief. The severe pain lasted SEVERAL weeks, non stop, no sleep, stoned on morphine, crying all day and night. I got the MRI that I needed on August 14th, almost 2 1/2 months after the shot!! Results showed T1-2 so narrow that I should NOT have gotten the injection. Might I add that she was gone for vacation and I was told that if I needed any help or had questions, her "colleagues" could help me. They had no idea that I needed a different MRI, so they wouldn't re-write her RX to state STAT!! They were no use. They wouldn't return my calls and I NEVER got a STAT MRI. The receptionist was rude. I tried explaining how much pain I was in but she didn't seem interested. The doctors after visit clinical notes did not say anything about having to do a 2nd injection. Her office wouldn't return my calls and I was in AGONY!! Weeks went by and still no word from her office. I do NOT recommend her as a pain "management" "doctor". She's a liar (to cover her own butt), and she should have known NOT to inject anything into the area where there was no room for it to go. 4 ER visits later, pain med trial and errors, no sleep and Pain at 1000 on a scale of 1-10 lasting weeks is what she gave me. The pain was so bad that my neighbor thought I was being attacked at 4:30AM. He said he heard blood curdling screams. That's what this "Doctor" did to me! M advice is to find someone else and run away from her as quickly as you can!

A bunch of drugs that was causing blisters in my mouth so bad i could only drink liquids . Throat swelling the first neurologist told me don't eat foods or drink anything that aggravates it ! I go to RPM I'm desperate at this point what can I loose . They did some ultrasounds told me whatever I'm taking for inflammation it isn't working. Stop taking it . I also stopped taking pre gablin on my own because I was hating the side effects it was causing. I switched back to naproxen . I stopped cbd thc because it wasn't doing anything for pain and definitely wasn't helping with inflammation. The Otho ill pain clinic wouldn't renew my muscle relaxer since I was on one i. It was the same muscle relaxer I was on for decades it wasn't new . So with RPM my balance increased I was not relying on a cane all the time. And I had pain relief. No I wouldn't say I was even close to my old normal self prior to Covid. But I was able to pace myself to do some things I haven't done since June 2023 . It was a work in progress with multiple breaks. I need to contact them again.because January 23 2026 I was involved with a high speed vehicle impact . Things are popping up or not improving with the rice method. It sucks when I was making progress!

I go to PT twice a week for stretching exercises, cognitive theropy for my brain trauma, then they spoil me with a massage & electrical stimulation to help me wind down after every session. Every time I walk out the door I feel like I've done something that was good for myself. I was presented with a contract of sorts that mapped out what all he was suggesting I do through them. I agreed on this contact a total maximum amount I would pay out of pocket, I kept records of my payments made from my debit card. Applied payments to each appointment, I also had to keep track of appointments not to exceed the amount I was liable for. They kept making appointments past the date I would meet my maximum. I think this was done to make it to where I would be liable for more then I agreed to pay. Well like I told them my insurance did not cover injections to my knees, all through this process I made them aware that my insurance does not cover the injections, they kept saying it would all work out. After all my appointments, physicial therapy, injections and weight loss consults. Cevene pain management kept billing my insurance for the injections, this was back in 2022 it's now 2026 and they continue to bill my insurance. This place is resentless. In my opinion they are shady and just want to milk your insurance then you for services that should not have been done. If I knew then what I know now I would not have gone through with any treatment. I now can't even get the billing department to return my calls. RUN FROM THIS FACILITY.

If he misses one, I ask again, which works for me! I've had lots of physical issues, and he has taken care of each and every one of them. Yes, it may take awhile to get in to see him, but he's a very deep thinker. He seems to hear out everything, then thinks hard, and will answer what he wants to do. There aren't many pain management Dr's available in Rockford, and the only time I've had to wait a long time, more recently, was when they were short-handed. Pain Management Dr's are facing so many difficulties with opioids, etc. I'm just very happy I have a great Dr taking care of my medical problems, and I also hope he isn't going to retire any time soon!!
