Foster dog - Vanilla with homemade ecoller. She had teeth extraction and only 2 teeth saved

I fostered a few dogs from Copper's Dream. It is such a nice organization! They don't have a physical shelter, they send dogs to foster homes right away when dogs come. Alyce, the coordinator of the foster program, is always on top of everything. She's knowledgeable and always replies so fast when I have a question or some concern.

An amazing company doing so much good. I have my sweet Siren thanks to Copper's Dream and she has already changed my life for the better. It was a seamless process from start to finish -- puppy is spayed & microchipped and was placed with a wonderful foster family who did an incredible job with her before I adopted. They set us up with endless resources; vet contacts, quick links for pet insurance, discounted trainers, learning materials, & more. I could not recommend a better rescue in the Bay Area and whole heartedly endorse this organization as one I would HIGHLY recommend donating to. Thank you for what you do!

We adopted Emma almost three weeks ago and it was the best decision we have ever made. We applied online and heard back from Jill the next day giving us information to set up a meeting with the foster parents. Then a few days later we brought our new puppy home. It was overall a good experience and I have already recommended Copper's Dream to some of our friends.

After looking for a dog for several months through the Petdar app and being discouraged by other organizations, I came across "Butter" at Copper's Dream. Although they didn't have much behavioral info on the pup, I was quickly put in contact with the foster, Alyce, who was able to provide more information. We set up a meeting and when we got there, the dog immediately ran to my oldest son and rolled over for belly rubs. We played with the puppy and chatted with Alyce an hour or so and she allowed us to adopt him that day. I paid the fees online (which was very convenient) and we were able to take Butter home. The puppy is getting along great, he seems very happy, and we adore him. A huge thank you to Copper's Dream for making the adoption process painless and setting us up with such a wonderful little love bug.

Happy, healthy, sleepy Fig. Thanks Copper's Dream!

Copper's Dream is the best thing that's happened to my husband and I since we got married this year. We adopted a little Dachshund mix from Copper's Dream at the Bay Area Pet Fair 2 weeks ago. He came fixed, microchipped, and with all his vaccines up to date. Unfortunately our little pup Fig came home with a cough that turned into something terrible. It was later discovered he had kennel cough (which is pretty common in shelter dogs) which progressed into pneumonia. We were devastated! He would have to be hospitalized if things didn't improve. Copper's Dream to the rescue! We updated them on Fig and they helped cover the initial hospital visit and antibiotics. They even offered to cover the hospitalization costs if needed. I was so touched to know they cared as much about Fig as we did even after he left their care. Fast forward a couple weeks. Fig is now a happy, healthy little guy full of sparkle and personality. Words can't express how grateful we are for Copper's Dream! We can't wait to recommend them to all our future pet owner friends.

We had been looking for a dog to adopt for a couple of months and applied and donated to two rescue organizations without luck. Then I found out about Copper's Dream and our search was over! They have a great website with good photos of the dogs. The process is straightforward and explained as well. What is most impressive is how responsive they are, especially with the number of dogs they are managing. I submitted our application and it was approved overnight. Within a few days, we met our first foster candidate. We ended up not getting the first dog due to some differences but that didn't deter us. We met our second foster dog and ended up adopting him immediately. I guess we are "foster failures" also. We are now using a trainer recommended by Copper's Dream and it's working out great. We can't be happier. Highly recommend!

Dexter and Zoey, both from Copper's Dream!

My two furry best friends are both Copper's Dream alums here and even fostered two (well, one of them I own now - I foster failed). I love how "on top of things" they are :) and organized for a potentially very chaotic organization with all the dogs!

She feels right at home at her forever home.

We now have been finalized with our daughter for 3 years and are ready to expand our family again through fost /adopt, but we decided that we wanted more input than we were allowed to have with the county. My daughters sister (who was also in foster care) ended up in a great home and that all came about through A Better Way, so we decided to look into their program and have begun our pride training classes. Since this is my 2nd time going through pride training (my last training was more than 5 years ago) initially I was not at all excited, but I have to say that I am really enjoying the classes. Being that I have been a foster parent, a concurrent planning placement parent and now an adoptive parent I am quite familiar with how things work, what the kids go through etc... and A Better Way does a really good job of balancing giving out that information (and not scaring people) along with presenting the lighter side of fost/adopt. I am very eager to finish the training and get to the next and so far so good. I would recommend a better way to anyone considering fost/adoption.

Immigration processes can feel overwhelming, but she made it much easier by explaining each step and keeping things on track. One thing that really stood out was her attention to detail. She reviewed everything carefully and made sure nothing was missed. That gave me confidence that my case was being handled thoroughly. She was also consistently available to answer questions. In my experience, many immigration lawyers can be hard to reach or slow to respond, but she was the opposite. I never felt left in the dark about what was happening. Even after our formal work together was finished, she has remained available as a resource when questions come up. That level of ongoing support means a lot. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and reliable immigration lawyer.

I was searching in Yelp way back 2018 and i messaged someone who helped Attorney Grace. I was devastated to get my immigrant status because I left my hometown in Philippines and I don't wanna go back home and tell myself, I failed. To cut story short, my case was complicated and she helped me understand what are the possibilities and procedures would be like. She was very honest and intelligent woman. She will not lie to you if your case is possible to work on or you will lose. 2018 we filed VAWA and she made it possible for me to get my work authorization approved while waiting for my first case to be approved before applying for my permanent residency. I will be honest sometimes, I wanted to give up but I have to trust the process. 2019 i got my VAWA approved and filed my adjust status for my permanent residency. 2020- been waiting but gladly I can still work so patience is a virtue. I wanted to give up but I told myself, Quitters never win. I waited. 2021- despite of Covid, I heard a great news from Grace Alano that I am set for my greencard interview. Yes it is December and it would be a perfect Christmas gift and I couldn't ask for more. We went to Sta Clara USCIS for my interview and Atty Grace was there with me. The officer asked few questions but not related to my previous case. Then after few questions, I got my greencard approved! As soon as we stepped out the room, I cried to Atty Grace and said Thank you for making it happen. I can finally go home to Philippines and see my son and family. She hugged and congratulate me. If the time come and I need a legal help, I will go to Atty Grace Alano again. I highly recommend her to help you with your immigration case.

Parking nearby is horrendous, super busy even on the weekdays before the rush hour so I can't imagine weekends when people are out or other high traffic times. Get ready to make some rounds and pay for parking and be careful since there's very specific signage and times. The cafe itself is cute and cozy. Front area is a gift shop with lots of cat themed gifts and goodies like keychains, stickers, and such, and also some items from local and small artists too, which is neat. The cafe also has community events like movie showings ("The Cat Returns" was one of them which is a great choice) and cat yoga. If you're local, you can also get a time stamp if you are a frequent visitor. Definitely follow their socials for more information. There's reservations online and you can also do walk ins if it's not super busy. You can book for a 55 minute visit or a 30 minute visit. PRO-TIP: There's a discount for students, so if you want to be surrounded by some feline friends while you study or relax, great place to do so. You can hang your coat on the rack and there's a mini shelf area for your shoes. So you gotta walk in with socks! With each visit you can either get a hot cup of tea or a cold can or box drink from their fridge (sparking water, juices, etc.). Very refreshing and you can enjoy it in the cat area too. Sanitize your hands before and after visiting. There's lots of cats hiding around, sleeping, walking around, and some are super friendly and will go into your lap. There's toys you can play with the cats with and there's a wall of adoptable cats. Lots of seats or you can opt to sit on the floor with the cats too. There's relaxing lo-fi music throughout too. Pretty cool that they rescued 2 cats from Qatar and neat that we got to see them. As with all cats, some can be a bit spicy but it's usually just a warning teeth rub. I own cats so there's nothing new. I'm horribly allergic to the cat that specifically lives in my house, but I didn't get an allergy here, meaning that the cats are clean and well taken for. My favorite was a large sleepy orange boy, Ron (permanent non-adoptable resident) that was hanging out next to me the entire time.

We took off our socks and found a table to sit at. Some of the cats came up to greet us when we were sitting. There are also toys available for you to use to play with them. Many of the cats were napping or lounging around but don't mind if you come up to sit next to them and give them pets. The camp is well-organized. Good communication before and during camp sessions. The counselors are incredibly nice and you can tell that they love their jobs. I would happily re-enroll her at TFT next summer. Note: my daughter is fairly independent and responsible for her age.
