As a vocalist/songwriter, I had the opportunity to work with Michael on two (2) projects of about five songs each at his studio in Times Square. I was referred to him by a mutual friend and after meeting with him and discussing my goals we arrived at a great workplan and very reasonable rate to get it done. Being somewhat new to recording music, Michael assisted with the arranging and producing the songs and made excellent recommendations regarding what instruments to bring and what can be live vs. looped. He was also very responsive to my ideas and found a way to incorporate them into the project. What I like most about working with Michael is how straight forward and smooth the whole process was. I have worked with Michael the past 4 years in his Times Square studio..... Michael is a professional .. honest and an inspired producer. His presence is definitely missed here in New York. It is not easy to find a producer who can bring out your best vocals and take your vision as a solo artist and help create and define a full sound for you. He is very versatile as he showed on my version of Blue Christmas.. he personally arranged and performed back round vocals that were right on... reminded me of the Jordanaires( Elvis backup vocal group) His rates are reasonable as well.
