This summer, I called Dusty's Sprinklers to our home because one of our zones was staying on while all the other zones ran and we were missing one sprinkler head. The guy came, replaced the sprinkler head, looked at the zone that stayed on all throughout the running of the other zones and told us we'd need a new brain box and quoted us $1,000. That didn't sound right to me, so I called Ron Hall for a second opinion. Ron Hall sprinklers just left. It took all of 3 minutes for Darryl to look at my system and tell me that whoever blew out the system in the fall (Dusty's) left a valve head open. He didn't even have to replace the valve head, just closed it! $1,000 Dusty's?! For a mistake you made?! The day Dusty's was here I also asked them to raise some of the sprinkler heads but was told I'd need to make a separate appointment for that and that it'd be $100/head. Before Darryl and Brian from Ron Hall left today, they asked me what else they could do for me. We looked at the sprinkler heads I wanted raised but once Darryl fixed the valve head, my pressure was good enough that I didn't need any heads raised. Meanwhile Dusty's Sprinklers just out there in town throwing out astronomical quotes for work that doesn't need to be done. Then not doing repairs on their own failures. DO NOT USE DUSTY SPRINKLERS! After Ron Hall left, I was pissed about Dusty's coming here and charging me $150 for a quote on work that didn't need to be done and for replacing one missing sprinkler head. The receptionist was a snarky bitch and they claimed zero responsibility for their failings. Ron Hall Sprinklers, you all are phenomenal at what you do. Thank you for being skilled in your labor. They installed the sprinklers in our backyard 30 years ago when the house was built and held up pretty good. They recently replaced a few sprinklers and the technician and they were able to look up the original sprinkler map. Good customer service and prices were reasonable. read more

They installed our sod and sprinkler systems over two years ago on our new residence. I have had them back twice a year for start up and blowout in the fall ever since. They have always done a thorough job. Solid service and always pleasant to work with. read more

I called Ron Hall Sprinklers for a severe Sprinkler leak. I came up from FL to get my Mother's house ready for sale when I noticed pooling water in the yard. I called numerous companies to come out for the repair. Ron Hall send a guy out to do the repair, but the system continued to leak. I called back to get them back out, but his tech was out of town, and others called in sick. 89 year old Mr Ron Hall personality came out to turn off the water source until a tech could come out. We had a new system installed last year and we were having issues with the way the sprinklers were set up. I called the office and talked to the owner, Ron Hall. He made arrangements to have someone come over, but he was very rude about it. He needs to work on his people skills if he expects to work with the public. read more

I saw Ron Hall Sprinklers next door and called the office to see if they could quickly (and bill me for) mowing my front yard which is connected to the yard they were working on. Since I am at home alone with a newborn, I can't just run out and grab the mower before it rains this afternoon. I was told they are not taking new business and we weren't on the schedule. "No, we cant do it." I'm sure it would've only taken them 10 minutes to help out and bill us. I guess the guy I saw taking two smoke breaks was "too busy" to quickly extend his mowing another 20 feet through my yard. read more

Asked for them to repair and adjust my system. After their "repairs" and "adjustments" Back yard had one spraying in the air, two spraying against house when I turned it on Called them and told the "owner". He told me someone would be back out. Got home from work and two sprinklers were still spraying into the windows of my basement. Absolute garbage. Don't subject your house to the potential damages by this shotty operation. read more

We used Ron Hall Sprinklers after getting several recommendations to blowout our sprinkler system last fall. This spring we go to turn it back on that the pipe is cracked from residual water being left inside. Per Ron Hall they guarantee their blowouts so I called to have them fix it. They estimated it would take 2 weeks to get someone out and the man I spoke with was adamant we had a leak. I asked when tech shows up he come to the door first so we can look at it together as when they blew out the sprinklers they didn't notify me they were there, I heard them outside after they started and wanted to witness the work being done start to finish. I should note pipe was bone dry when we found it, if there was a leak we would have likely still saw some evidence. Nearly three weeks later I get a call that someone would be by the following day between 1-2pm to look at it. Around 12pm the following day I saw their work truck pull up and immediately go to the side of the house without informing me they were there. I went out to meet the technician and he agreed that the pipe was cracked due to water inside but also saw no evidence of a leak and happened because of a 'bad blowout'. He repaired everything and I asked that before he left he wait until I turned the water and system on to make sure there were no underground problems. I couldn't do this prior to the repair because water would just spew out the cracked pipe. While I test everything I over hear a phone conversation regarding billing for parts. I asked why I'd have to pay for parts when had it been done correctly the first time I would not have needed them. Doug said it wasn't up to him but agreed it should be no charge. Today I received a bill for $50 not to repair or for parts, no charge there, but to check out the system. The system that I checked out while the tech stood there on the phone. I assume this was some way to recoup funds for their mistake. They also wrote on the invoice 'We are not sure how this happened unless the system was accidentally charged back up'. Why would I pay to have my system blown out for the winter only to turn it back on? According to other reviews this isn't the first time they've done a bad blowout and caused issues. Do yourself a favor and pick a different company. Had I know I'd be charged $50 for him to stand there while I did the work I would have told him to leave and called again if there was an issue. read more
