While doing yard work today a gentleman approached me and told me after re-paving my neighbors…read moredriveway, they had "extra" asphalt. He wanted to know if I wanted him to give me a price in paving the gravel half of my driveway. Believing it was a scam, I let him measure the area anyway. When he told me the price, it was more than I was willing to spend. I countered with an offer I was willing to pay, we agreed upon the price. I was still skeptical. I watched most of the work being performed by the four man crew. I was impressed with their hard work and professionalism. After a few hours work the job was completed. They ensured that every ridge and bump was rolled smooth and my new extended driveway looks great. They even swept and rolled the street between my house and the neighbors house. At the end of the day, my faith in contractors has been somewhat restored. With the professional job they did on a low price, impromptu at my house, I'd recommend them to anyone.

I don't normally do my own plant replacement but since it's 2025 and the going hourly to hire it…read moreout is $300+ an hour plus the plants, I was motivated to replace three bad plants in front of our home myself. Had a great experience with Pleasant primarily due to Denny being so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Ask me about health and nutrition? Got it, good to go. Ask me about plants? As close to a zero as you can get. So I asked Denny every newbie question there is. He was great, explaining the differences between the options I was most drawn to, and how best to install the new plants. Got the plants I wanted, did it myself, saved myself a GOOD $1000 for doing so thanks to the availability of what I wanted at Pleasant and Denny's help.
