I've been a copper.net customer for over 20 yrs. I recently changed my PW. ever since the PW change, I've been locked out of my emails. I have no access to my emails or hundreds of contacts. I've been calling copper.net tech support for over 1 wk......it rings straight to voicemail, and nobody ever returns my messages. I've contacted tech support via another email multiple times without an answer. I have even sent copper a postal letter to thier P.O. box. still no reply. My father's account was mysteriously reinstated after I canceled it for him 2 years ago. Somehow the automatic withdrawal info remained and he was charged for 3 months before I noticed what was happening. He is 87 years old and hasn't used a computer in a few years and he has never had a smartphone. I've contacted copper.net via voicemail and email numerous times and they will not respond. I have had this company for several years. I have a mac and a problem with mac mail. I was on the phone for 3 hours with Apple and they said it a copper.net issue. In August I called and emailed Linda Rozewicz-Schiffel. She did forward my request to technical support because it was beyond her knowledge base. I sent Linda several emails and she never responded to any of them. I continue to have an issue on and off with mail and they always have an excuse because it's mac. I have 4 email address and now cannot receive on 1 of them so I have to go to the server to retrieve it. How the hell do I get real technical support Michael Hawk? I have had Copper.net since it was actually dial up...over 20 years. I have always had good customer service up to 5 years ago. They started charging outrageous annual fees. I paid them, because EVERYTHING I had was linked to this address. (Military family) I had messages saved from all my husband's deployments, saved messages from now deceased people, etc. 2 years ago, the amount of Spam I rec'd blew up! Sometimes 20 a day! I got hacked 2 months ago, and finally was able to get help after a week of calling. Then they 'reformatted' without prior notice. I LOST EVERYTHING AND NO ONE CALLS BACK! No longer needed the service. When my credit card number changed, Copper sent me email saying my account was being cancelled, which was okay with me. Two months later I noticed they were still charging my credit card. I called today to finally cancel. (I am calling my credit card company to make sure they can't keep charging me.) Last charge was a couple of days ago but my request for a partial refund was denied. Copper can con me out of the last payment but it is the last money they will see from me or anyone I know. Never doing business with them again. read more
