Even though Dave probably wanted to go home, he stayed open 2 hours past closing for us! [Location] Pretty much a block from downtown and right across from the Lodge at Big Bear Lake. They have a huge parking lot even though we didn't utilize it being we were walking distance to the Lodge. Plus, no drinky, no drivey! Great view of the lake too. [Hours] This Lodge is open 12pm to 7 pm daily. The building itself is huge.

I experienced my first visit to the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa this past weekend, I stayed one…read morenight, Sunday-Monday, and I can enthusiastically say that I had an incredible time! My main motivation for visiting was the pools & lazy river, which absolutely delivered. The resort area was clean and sparkling, however if I had to be picky, the women's bathroom in the pool area could have definitely been checked and cleaned more often. The music playlist in the resort was perfect and upbeat with your classic party hits, and there was enough room/chairs/tables for all of the guests to enjoy a spot in the outdoor area (we were able to get lounge chairs right in front of the lazy river both days). I made my food/drinks/eats/dining reviews separately in respect to each restaurant in the Morongo that I ate at, which were all extremely positive! I absolutely loved the selection and range of options the Morongo had to offer when it comes to dining- check out my other reviews! The casino was admittedly very fun, and I am not big on gambling nor slot machine games. I found a few machines I loved playing and found the environment very enjoyable. Very nice selection and wide range of options in the casino area for everyone to enjoy! On top of that, I appreciated the hospitality and service of the employees and security at the Morongo, I felt safe and welcome and would absolutely love to return soon!!

I do think they need to make the hours a little longer 9pm to 1am in ny opinion. Overall, I enjoy the variety of music being played by the Dj. Usually the people I run into just want to have a great time and enjoy the pools and drinks. My friends and I rented a cabana one night and really enjoyed the experience so we invited more friends and rent a cabana the following Friday. So we arrived go through the check in process as usual. As the lifeguard walked us to the cabana, we walked past the number I was originally told I was booked for and I saw people in there and it was taped off still. In my mind I thought that was odd but I also don't work there. So I was like maybe they're getting people checked in. As the night go on. I notice a crowd of people and workers touching our stuff in the cabana so I approached them. I asked if I can ask them if I can help them. The staff in blue immediately started questioning me about booking and who is the name under. I gave them the information. They seem disorganized and that they did not want to ask the other people in the other cabana about the bookings especially after me explaining this is where we was put and I explained it was tapped off. It was either they double booked or someone was there that didn't belong. It didn't take me long to figure it out. I complained about the pizza at this time as well. They said they will bring us another. So we left the pizza in there. About hour later I asked our waitress and she said they were making a fresh one. Right before midnight I asked about the pizza again and now she said oh we are just gonna issue you a refund. Like girl what?!?! I've been starving waiting on fresh pizza that was not even coming like what's really going on. Last night was our 5th time coming so the quality of the pizza was based on previous times I have came. Then the waitress said to wait in the cabana for the supervisor to come speak with us. As were waiting the officer Alex Perez i believe his name was rushing us and called the front. He said that he was told because we were being "aggressive" that we need to go to the front and speak to the supervisor we all looked confused so we were like ok lets go. We speak to the supervisor and he was not aware. One thing I can say is that the officers may need racial and ethics training or a refresher. I find it strange they rushed all of one ethnic group out their cabanas but another ethnic group were still in the cabanas chilling and not being told to leave. I tried to go back to the cabana we were in to see if the receipt was in there so they can issue the refund and the officers were giving me a hard time mindwhile other people were just chilling in their cabana not being told to get out or anything. Literally the officer was flashing his light at us and standing at our cabana until we left but others were given the same treatment. I get it, people want to wrap up for the night and be off. But if Customer service was addressed when the issue was presented then we would've left promptly and not spend an extra 20-30 mins. Find people who want to work the overtime.

$300 Missing From an ATM -- Still Trying to Get Help…read more Yelp Review I hesitate to write this because I really don't like submitting negative reviews, but I've had an extremely difficult time getting help from Fantasy Springs with a serious situation. On August 5, I used an ATM inside the casino and attempted to withdraw $360. The machine only dispensed $60, leaving me $300 short. I immediately reported it to an attendant. After trying to find someone who could help, he explained that because the ATM was operated by an outside company, Everi, I would need to contact them and Wells Fargo. I followed those instructions and trusted that the system would straighten this out. It didn't. Wells Fargo temporarily credited my account while investigating, but later denied my claim because their investigation indicated that the full amount had been dispensed. They then took the temporary credit back. That's the entire problem: the ATM's records may say $360 was dispensed, but only $60 physically came out. I called Wells Fargo, requested further review, and specifically asked whether anyone had considered surveillance footage. I was told they had sufficient information from the ATM company. I later went personally to a Wells Fargo branch, where a banker filed another complaint for me but explained there was probably little the branch could do because it wasn't a Wells Fargo ATM. I have not returned to Fantasy Springs since the night this happened. After Wells Fargo denied my claim, I called the Fantasy Springs host office. My host initially offered $75 in FreePlay and later increased it to $150. I appreciated the gesture, but FreePlay isn't cash. It has to be gambled, with no guarantee how much will ultimately become money I can take home. By then I was so tired of fighting this that I offered a compromise: give me $300 in FreePlay and I would bite the bullet, call it a day and consider the matter resolved--even though I'm actually missing $300 cash. They declined and said $150 was their final goodwill offer. I also asked Fantasy Springs to review its surveillance footage. Initially I was told footage couldn't be released or shown to guests. I clarified that I wasn't asking to see it--I was asking someone at Fantasy Springs to review it themselves. I provided the date and timestamp. I was then told they were unable to review or release the footage to determine or resolve the ATM issue. I understand that video might not show exactly how many bills came out. But when a customer reports a $300 shortage immediately after it happens, I don't understand why potentially corroborating evidence isn't even reviewed. I continued asking to speak with upper management because, as I wrote to my host, "I would prefer to work this out reasonably." I was told management had been consulted and $150 in FreePlay was the final offer. When I requested further management review, I received this message: "Requesting further management review may affect the availability of this offer." Later I was asked when I wanted to come use the $150. I said I couldn't come that night and would be in touch. The response was: "Ok. Will cancel your free play." I have not accepted or used the FreePlay. So I'm still caught in the middle. Wells Fargo says its investigation indicates $360 was dispensed. The ATM is operated by an outside company. Fantasy Springs says it can't resolve the ATM transaction and won't review its surveillance footage for this purpose. But I know what came out of that machine: $60. I'm still missing $300, and I reported it immediately. I'm not asking Fantasy Springs to simply hand me $300 based on my word. I'm asking for someone with the authority to meaningfully investigate what happened. I even offered to accept $300 in FreePlay instead of cash just to put this behind me. I would be happy to update this review if someone in management steps in and helps find a reasonable solution. Until then, I'm still out $300.

Admission is free and visiting is really so novel. I do crochet, and do a lot of other creative crafts and was so excited for my nerdy heart to visit the museum. If you visit their website you will also see that it's the "museum seen around the world" with photos of it popping up in airports around the world because it was featured in and HSBC advertisement. So if you like to create, or you like unique roadside attractions, be sure to visit The World Famous Crochet Musuem. The cool thing too, there are other things to see and shop at the same location in Joshua Tree. The area is really neat, and a place to add to your bucket list.

I wasn't lying I put my $20 in, lost it immediately, and was back out in about .2 seconds. That said, it was still a fun little experience. The casino itself felt clean, quaint, and easy to navigate. Definitely a nice stop if you want to stretch your legs, play a little for fun, and get back on the road. Just maybe keep it to a small amount... at least that's my strategy Stop in for the stretch but leave your wallet and purse in the car and only take in an amount you won't cry over if you lose.

But then since my daughter was super hungry I asked the hostess to seat us as a party of 2. She said there were no tables available even though half the restaurant was empty. She told us to go order at the bar and sit at the side bar area where there were some tables.
