I have never previously been in this state before moving here. I did not have a lot of time to complete my move so instead of making a trip to visit SLC first I looked for apts online and narrowed my search to Riverwalk and "the other well know apt community around the corner in Midvale that shall remain nameless" I applied to both, however Ashley with Riverwalk was always available and always kept me up to date with my application and what was available. She was able to answer all my questions over the phone or through email. Much quicker than the other community. So due to the quick response time, and excellent customer service I picked this place over the other. I arrived in Utah on move-in day. It was on a Tuesday and I met Ashely, the maintenance man and the community manager. Ashley had my paperwork and keys already to go. I walked into my apt and fell in love!! It looks much nicer in person than the pictures available online. I LOVE the layout, the kitchen, spacious closet and separate laundry room! These apts are beautiful!!! Staff: I'm not one of those people that go to the office every other day, week or even month, matter a fact I've been there 3 times in the past 6 months and 2 of those times was just to pick up a package and the other was to pay rent. But every time I go they always greet me with a smile and they always remember who I am. Every time I have called they remember who I am and are always willing to help. I see the maintenance man often making his rounds and picking up trash and he is ALWAYS smiling and friendly. One time I wasn't able to pick a package up at the office and the manager offered to take it to my apt and leave it inside the door. Even though I declined; this stuck with me and made a HUGE positive impression! I have lived in 4 apts in three different states in the past 2 yrs and I have had the best hospitality here at Riverwalk. All in all I have NO complaints about this community. The community is quite. It's also very clean. I am VERY satisfied with my choice of making Riverwalk my home and would not and have not hesitated to recommend them to my friends!

Office and maintenance staff are super professional but also friendly. They will always go out of their way to help you out! The location is fantastic, especially if you are a dog owner! There is a park right off the back of the complex. The apartments themselves are beautiful and I am proud to invite people over to show them the place. I have a two bedroom and its very spacious! And I will say my requests tend to be on the unconventional and needy side I'm in a one bedroom that has such a wonderful layout with lots of storage and great unobstructed views. I have had very few maintenance requests but every time I do need something they're there within an hour and able to fix anything and everything I have a question about. There are a huge perks in living here which include having the smart home as well as the Amazon hub that both Amazon UPS and FedEx all have access to use so your packages are always secure. The common hallways are often cleaned and maintained to make sure everyone's homes remain nice! Management has always gone above and beyond to help me out and make me feel like a welcome member of their community

When multiple emails were sent and multiple attempts to walk past the office to sign move out papers just to see a "sorry we missed you sign." Still fighting the charges but company will not admit their wrongs about failing to do their jobs and respond to their tenant about trying to move out. Did nothing but pay bills on time and be a nice quiet tenant just for them in the first email to me about the situation threaten to send the charge to collections.

But the icing (and cherry too) on the cake would be the staff. Mikayla is amazing at her job. She is incredibly attentive to resident needs and handles everything with upmost professionalism. But it's not just her, the whole staff is great! Maintenance is quick and responsive and does a great job. If you're looking for a new place. The apartments are surrounded by a beautiful, mature tree-filled landscape with a running stream. The amenities are countless here; I personally enjoy the pool and hot tube. I love that this is a pet friendly community as those can be difficult to find in this area. The apartments themselves are clean, maintained and well laid out. The location is very convenient, as it is close to multiple shopping centers, I15, I215 and State Street. I particularly commend the management of this property, especially Gracia, on their professionalism, attention to detail and responsiveness. The only issue I have experienced since living here is that Sprint has very poor service in this area but that is obviously not an issue with the apartment complex. The Salt Lake Valley is full of apartment complexes but in my opinion it would be difficult to find a better place to live at such a reasonable price.

Cons: -The walls are so thin and cheap, you and your…read moreneighbors will be battling all night over any little noise. I would try regulating my breathing, or get up in the middle of the night, and for any little upset, it would set off any adjoining apartments. -The rent goes up like clockwork, to the point where you can't even make a raise without it going towards the landlords who clearly need it more. -The environment is filthy with dog crap and garbage building up all over the place. Bed bugs actively sneak in. And if you live on the first floor, ants and insects will be your constant roommates. -With so much trash in the area, it will regularly blow into your stairwell, and you will be charged if it isn't kept clean. It's not too much of a nuisance, until you realize how often you have to do it. And of course, your neighbors won't be bothered to clean, so the burden falls on you. -There are regular inspections to investigate how well you've been treating their apartment. The invasion of privacy is annoying, but even worse when you consider how cheap a lot of the materials are. I was sweeping one time and had to get behind some curtains, but of course, the cheap plastic broke when I moved it. Regular visits, combined with frequent breaks and accidents, isn't very enjoyable. Pro: -The staff are polite and do a good job. A place like this clearly needs good staff to even attempt to make up for its failures. And even then, I wouldn't recommend this place at all! Go somewhere that will add years to your life.

In my household, we paid rent and media fee two days early (the only two things showing that we owed), bringing our account down to zero. Two days later, they posted another (optional) fee to our account..and instead of applying my payment to what I actually paid for in the first place, they took a portion and applied it to my optional fee, leaving me a "balance" on my rent and media fee which was paid for in the first place. Now, they have charged an extra $115 "late fee" (on a $14.95 optional charge) because they chose where they wanted to apply my payment to instead of what was actually paid for. One of us left a review, and the customer care team responded and told us to email them because they would like to resolve the issue. However, after reaching out to customer care a couple of times, they have ignored the emails and have not responded at all. Again, not showing they really care. Another reason I'm leaving a one star is the walls and ceilings are not very sound-resistant. We here our upstairs neighbors and their dog constantly.
