Recently, I tried to send a Christmas present to my friend and used this post office to ship it. Tracking the package, me and my friend were so excited when it said out for delivery but then realized it wasn't in the right city. It was marked as undeliverable and sent back to me. Looking at the delivery, it stated that the city it was out to be delivered in had a zip code ending in 8 and my friends ended in 0, which I'm guessing there was an error in what was written on the shipping slip that the post office rights because my addresses on the package were marked clearly. because the staff is friendly. But, this is a small post office, and I had the experience that an error was made shipping my package. Not thinking to look ahead at the hours, because most post offices open at 8:30am (I thought they all did) when I took the package back to get the error resolved and get my friend her now very late Christmas package, I found out that this post office doesn't open until 9:30am. Luckily, I was able to go to the Blairsville post office and they fixed the issue. Would recommend sending out letters from here or buying stamps, but it may be better to drive the extra 5 minutes to Blairsville to make sure the delivery is entered right in the computer.

I applied for a Salvage title on November 18, 2019. My wife's name was on it. I said she passed…read moreaway. They had me sign papers and that it would take about 10 days to receive it. I called after 2 weeks and they said it hasn't arrived yet. I kept calling for 2 weeks and received the same answer, it hasn't come back yet. I called Penn Dot and they said they needed death certificate and it was sent back on December 4th to the notary. I went back to the Notary and said why didn't you ask me for the death certificate on November 18th when I was there and why didn't you call for 4 weeks. She blamed the messenger service they were using. I called the messenger service. They said the tire was sent to the Notary, there was no hold up on their end. I got no answer for the delay. Again I brought the death certificate to the Notary. She said It would be there in an few days. 2 more weeks went past and she said it didn't come back yet. I called Penn Dot again and they said it was sent back again that the employee from the notary didn't fill out form 39 with the death certificate. I went back to the notary and asked why didn't she fill out form 39. No answer no response. She said she would send it out special delivery. 2 more weeks went by, more excuses. I called Penn Dot a 3rd time that it was processed and mailed back completed last week. I went back to the Notary. I said I had enough of this where is my title. I told them that Penn Dot said it was sent out over a week ago. She claimed she didn't have it. This was January 29th. She said that she was going to the messenger service in Monroeville (30 minutes away) "right now" to get it. That was at 10am on January 30th to get the title. That same evening we went to get it. She said her daughter went there but they closed at 5pm after they told me at 10am that morning that they were going to get it. I told her to stop lying to me that we called January 30th in the evening and your daughter answered the phone and said my moms not back yet. Notary never called once about the title. After 10 weeks I finally got the title. I never received an apology or an explanation as to why they told me it would take 10 days and it took 10 weeks. Posting for my father. Do not go to this "business" go somewhere else!
