When I arrived, I wasn't sure I was in the right place because it's in a neighborhood. But the greenhouses visible on the right side of the house assured me that I was in the right spot. I was greeted by a worker and she showed me the carnivorous plant section. I picked out a healthy Venus fly trap and a sundew and then spent close to an hour looking at all the other awesome plants and bonsai they have to offer. I was looking for a replacement plant from a failed bonsai class I took a few months ago so I was able to find a nice dwarf Barbados cherry as well. The experience was very relaxing and nice. The worker who greeted me also potted my carnivorous gift. Another staff member cashed me out and helped me with plant care questions. The staff is friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to listen to what we were looking for in each of our roses, walked us around showing us different selections (and even giving us clippings of different roses). They have a tremendous selection and their roses are grown to thrive here in Florida. I couldn't be happier, and all of our bushes are doing wonderful. My only complaint is that they are only open to the public on Saturdays, but big whoop... it's worth planning for. I highly recommend swinging in and taking some time to stop and smell the roses. ;-)
