I was looking for a female doctor (Internist) who could manage all aspects of my healthcare, from the common cold to referrals to specialists when needed . Dr Stock really exceeds my expectations. While I am highly involved in my own healthcare research and planning, Dr Stock is a true professional and I "highly value" her opinions and suggestions. She really listens to your concerns and your opinions regarding your care, and offers support and/or additional information as it is needed. She is very up-to-date in medical knowledge and procedures. I will consult with her with any medical concerns I might have in the future. We all visit him for our annual wellness visits and all the stuff in between. I get to use a patient portal to schedule appointments, send the doctor a message or ask a question and to make any payments. The office is also easy to access, right off Polaris Parkway near the corner of Maxtown amd Route 3. It's in a large building on the 2nd floor. The best thing about the visit is seeing the fish tank. The fish tank has all the characters of Nemo. Yes, it makes me feel like a kid again every time I see it.

I was referred to Dr. Krupko out of this office in March/April after two hospital stays and an issue with my pituitary gland. After a shared MRI between Dr. Krupko and my neurologist, there was no follow up from this office. In addition to this, multiple phone calls from myself and my neurologists office went unanswered for almost two months. I don't know if the doctor is just seeing too many patients or what, but I get the feeling every time I am in there that he doesn't remember why I am there or what my medical history is. NOT a good thing when you have been through what I have been through medically this past year.

I thought I was meeting with a chiropractor I had seen the previous year. The nurse said he left the practice. I would meet with the Physical Medicine Physician on staff. I waited a half hour. I explained my symptoms to the Doctor - pain in my neck, and shoulder that went down my arm. He said I needed XRays and prescribed prednisone. He wanted me to come back to see him a week later. The nurse said she would call in the prescription to my pharmacy in Westerville and confirmed the details. My pharmacy never received it. This office is closed on Friday so I called Monday. No one answered. I left 2 messages about the prescription. Never received a call back. I called again on Tuesday - got the answering machine again. Left another message about the prescription not being called into CVS. (5 days later). I never heard back from them. Later in the day I called and canceled my f/u appointment via voicemail. What was the point of going back? Not sure what is going on there, but not responding to calls from a patient about never receiving a prescription is dangerous. It seems like they don't really care.

He was easy to talk with and did actually address all of my concerns. He spent more time with me than I expected, but this was also my first visit. He quickly had some ideas about what could be the problem and arranged for all kinds of blood tests. The staff did follow up without me having to call them (which is rare in these days). I will be back to this doctor. I think that he had a wonderful bedside manner and was very willing to listen to me. He also gave me a few recommendations for a more local GP as well as OBGYN (which I certainly appreciated).

The practice has grown considerably since 1997 and now includes 6 or 8 doctors and several nurse practitioners. They recently relocated to new facilities in the Altair Medical Building (off Africa Rd just beyond the COPC Headquarters and the COPC Medical Building. I have the utmost faith and trust with these doctors and credit Dr Richard will saving my life when he detected colon cancer over 20 years ago when it was still highly treatable. He's not one to order tests unless there's a really good reason and is not one to overly medicate a condition. I've seen a number of the doctors and nurse practitioners in this practice when Dr Richard hasn't been available and all provided excellent care. I would highly recommend Westerville Family Physicians.
