Called ahead of time and they seemed very nice and…read moreunderstanding, they informed us it's only for working people (we were going there for my boyfriends job) and no children were allowed (not an issue as we don't have kids yet) we asked if dogs were allowed (as we have three of them) they said dogs we're perfectly fine as long as we cleaned up after them( we bring doggy bags everywhere) we got there and the owner was helping my boyfriend back in and was very rude and hateful about it (my boyfriend didn't need help the owner just started to help) then after being rude while "helping" the dogs were in the truck and the window was cracked and they started to bark (they are not aggressive at all) owner then says " you need to shut those dogs up" then walks away and as he's walking away he tells someone " he needs to shut those god damn dogs the fuck up"!!!! Needless to say we pulled our camper to a new park!

A little far from coast but we discovered several restaurants along the way that were wonderful. One tiny problem we had was when we first pulled in to park. We were told to take the first "right" to drive to our site. The first right turned out to be the pull out lane for the first row of RV's, not an actual street. We couldn't back the trailer that far so had to unhook our trailer there, unload car, pull trailer through an empty RV space with the car, then back the RV up. This was mostly our fault, but you might post that road as "not a thru street" or something. I think we gave the RV travelers sitting outside visiting quite a show and a laugh!

I would recommend the park to anybody looking for a place to stay short or long term. It is a well maintained park. The facilities are close to the city but just far away enough to get away from it all. Also near the Bonnet Carre Spillway where you can boat and fish. Highly recommend!

The shower didn't work, and the bath backed up into the floor drain, causing a giant puddle in the bathroom. Staff is approachable but not friendly. Then the following week when I saw him he still talked smack cause I hadn't left his Rv park when I was already paid up for the month. I wish I could give this place a no star rating.
