CCS originated as a single therapist practice in 2009. In 2011, CCS blossomed into a group practice and has been successfully helping Children, Adolescents, and Adults since then.
Meet the Business Owner: Carrie X.
Carrie R Xavier is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) as well as the Director of CCS. She holds a Master's Degree (MA) and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Agency Counseling/Chemical Dependency. She has been practicing psychotherapy for over 10 years and has a solid foundation in working with families, adolescents, and children for over 20 years.
She approaches counseling and psychotherapy from a non-judgmental, empathetic, logical, person-centered perspective. Through a collaborative effort with the individual, couple, or family, she incorporates principles from Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Psycho-Educational, Existential, and Solution-Focused modalities. Each treatment plan is highly tailored to the needs of the client.
