We have ended up staying, both because house prices went way up and because we have had such a great experience living here at Legends. Going on 3 years now and really no issues, just wonderful things to say. The community is great, super clean and well taken care of, and we love the pool area, gym, and free coffee. The events they put on really tip the scales for us and make it hard to leave! They are constantly doing parties and get togethers to foster community that are so fun. Our favorite have been the murder mystery parties. We have won so many gift cards at these events it's almost ridiculous. I recently joined the book club and we had an author come to talk with us about her book and the Legends staff set up the club house with decor and amazing food. We now have so many amazing neighbors and friends, including the incredible staff. Love Love love this place and would recommend it to anyone!

The floor plans and photos online are misleading. For example, the "Juliette balcony" is not a balcony at all -- it's just a screened door with a gate outside. If you expect your apartment to look like the pictures, make sure to ask for clarification before signing. When I moved in, the unit had not been cleaned and was left exactly as the previous resident had it. A vendor admitted days later that they had never serviced the apartment. On top of that, the refrigerator burned out on my first day. When I leaned against it, I was shocked badly enough to leave me shaken -- yet maintenance dismissed it as "just a shock" instead of an electrocution. Regardless of terminology, this is unacceptable in an apartment at this price point. To make matters worse, the unit was infested with ants, including in my bed. I eventually transferred to another unit that actually had a balcony like the ones advertised online. Management, however, failed to tell me that my $200 security deposit would not transfer -- they simply applied it to the new lease, and I never saw it again. Another major concern was my privacy. Five days before my lease ended, vendors entered my apartment without my knowledge to "prepare" it for the next tenant. I only discovered this because they left a Starbucks cup on my counter. The thought of strangers being in my home, with access to all my belongings, while I was still living there is extremely unsettling and irresponsible. Community-wide issues are constant. Management regularly sends emails complaining about loud music and a pervasive weed smell throughout the property. The valet trash service is unreliable, leaving garbage piled up and making the complex reek. The pool is often closed because residents bring in children who aren't potty trained. The mail setup is another nightmare. Packages are delivered to an outdoor hallway with no cameras, making theft easy. I personally had an Amazon package rifled through, along with several others, before the office finally stepped in. By then, items were already scattered and tampered with. Overall, this complex is mismanaged, unprofessional, and unsafe. Between the misleading advertising, poor maintenance, privacy violations, community issues, and lack of security, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere before signing a lease here.

The bathroom counters are so high and the toilets are so small. The paint on the inside doors is so thick the doors stick. They have 3 maintenance guys here for a small place, they have a lock on the trash compactor and so much for a gated community the gate is never closed. For the price of rent it should be better than what I am paying for. I asked to have the lock looked at so the door would close they came looked and that was it. The only thing I can say is that it's a quiet place.

My light bill is high every month since I've been here and I am a person who is very cognizant of things like that. The place needs major updating. The only benefit to the place is the garage and the small back porch but for the money they charge it's not worth it if you have to deal with constant roach and rat problems. I'm a very clean person and it has bothered me since I moved here. But I had no choice but to stay. I'm in the process of looking for another place.I've also spent about a thousand dollars buying storage containers to keep my things in so the roaches don't get into my nice things. One of the rats chewed up some of my items and management didn't do anything to compensate me for them. So again if you are looking for clean and updated. This is not the place.
