Mrs BEVERLY was the one to help me at the front. I want to leave a one star but two stars is harder…read moreto remove. Beverly has not been trained correctly! I bring my items to return in. She starts slamming the scanner on the table and claims it is unable to scan my receipt. I knew the return policy prior to coming in so I knew it was bs. She continues to slam it around yank on the wire and more. She then tells me I have to drive an hour back to Laurinburg to return my items. I knew that was bull. This Walgreens needs to get it together! And as far as it goes for Mrs BEV acting like I didn't know the policy... learn to have a better attitude. I stayed calm however and left peacefully however I had to drive thirty minutes to another one where they had no issue returning it (in pinehurst) I know not to come to this one anymore!

They didn't try to accommodate me. They didn't do anything just like oh well I'm sorry there's nothing we can do we're behind so I'm out of medicine and I can't come back today so I have to suffer through the day with no medicine because they cannot fill my prescription because it's not convenient for them. I'm taking my prescription. I'm gonna go someplace else. I will never go back to them again. They are the absolute worst.

They delivered my chair 2 days before surgery and it was perfect! But I did have a problem, the remote stopped working in the middle of the night. I went into the store and got a new remote, problem fixed, but not quite. They have a wonderful olden man working there, Cecil I talked with him a few times and two days ago he can out and my chair is now perfect again. The staff goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers. They are the best at customer service! Thank you. Geri Lambert

This Pharmacy is absolutely blessed to have working on their staff the pharmacist who named I only…read morereceived as Serena. Miss Serena is a professional in her craft, a personable individual and she takes her time to explain in detail medications as she goes beyond the Call of Duty. We are very blessed to have her as our pharmacist. She exercised patience as she explained each medication. She did not rush through anything. The pharmacy itself is on a quiet Road on the right hand side when coming off the main Highway. Inside the shelves were neatly packed with supplies, there is a private room off to the left where if you needed to get a flu shot you would be able to do so in private. They had a blood pressure machine there which was a good idea to have at a pharmacy. Too many of us are running around with hypertension and don't even know it. Nonetheless as customers came in they were greeted by staff members one by one and they all left out with a smile I'm very pleased with their services. I'm not from this area but I picked up on the pleasantries, professionalism, knowledgeable staff, friendliness, kindness and concern that Serena and the staff of this Pharmacy displayed. For such this deserves a four-star alone. Thank you for being a staff that cares.

If I could give zero stars that would not be bad enough. This pharmacy deserves negative 10 stars…read more My reasons: 1. They hold most medicines, neglecting to fill them until the patient calls in to confirm they want it. In what universe does this make sense??? If my doctor ordered a monthly medication, yes! i want it every month, you cheap bast*rds. 2. Wait times on the phone average 25 minutes (in the middle of the day on a weekday) and 15 of those minutes is telling you you are behind one person in the queue and really it means they just forgot you are waiting for them on hold, so you have to hang up and start the whole process again. 3. When you call it takes a minimum of 7 minutes just to reach a human (from corporate who will then put you back on hold for at least another 20 minutes with the Ivey Ln. store) thanks to their corporate automated system (and during that time they force you to sit through ads for flu shots). 3. I have witnessed, in-person, that the pharmacy techs at this location (who should be answering new, incoming phone calls) instead cold-calling random customers to notify them that flu shots are available in the middle of the summer rather than answering the phone for people who need actual medicine right now. 4. The pharmacy techs offer a voicemail to leave a message for the pharmacist and once you reach their voicemail there is another automated message that tells you there's a system failure and voicemails can't be recorded at this time = absolutely no way to speak with a pharmacist unless you get in the car, waste gas money and time, to drive to tell the pharmacist in person who will then make you sit at the pharmacy and wait another 45 minutes to fill the prescription you would have liked to confirm filling over the phone. This is EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL of customers time. 5. To add insult to injury, I have never had a prescription be in stock and on time EVER usually there they're out of stock and I have to wait several days Just to get it filled. 6. So I called to get an estimate of how long that would be and they provide vague answers like "in a little while" "not too long" or "the manufacturer won't tell us." And the pharmacy techs act put out and surprised when you express anything but pleasure over the rude, careless, and disrespectful ways they run their business. 6. When I notified them that I had been put on hold three separate times (for a total of 55 minutes waiting on hold) and that I would like to not be put on hold again (and literally forgotten) they put me through to customer service who explained to me (like I was a simpleton) exactly what the pharmacy techs had already told me twice. This is a remote area but that is NO EXCUSE for what an awful business this Walgreens is. Go somewhere else. Drive 50 miles. It will make you feel better, which is the whole point of a pharmacy, right? Thank you for reading and I hope this gets the message out there and helps other people!
