Very helpful and easy process. No hidden fees and very nice folks in there. Will be going back for more trailers.

I called them spoke to RJH and was told to send pics. I did as they instructed and sent a picture of the odd ball tire. this was on friday 3/20/2026. RJH texted me saying he would be in contact with me at the beginning of the next week. He never contacted me so I texted him on Wednesday 3/25/2026 to ask him what was going on. Below is the text conversation we had. Bryan let me look into this and I will be in touch with you first of next week. RJH What did you decide? Bryan, the tire currently on the trailer is the correct size and load range. Your concern is primarily about the appearance, not the tire's function. I understand you want all the tread to match, but during our conversation, you mentioned that the reason for replacing the tires was due to a mismatch. I recall that when you dropped off the trailer, your main concern was upgrading the load range from 10-ply to 14-ply. Additionally, I remember you returning after dropping off the trailer, and I discounted the wheel/tire combo to match the original quote for just the tires, that was part of a sales deal quote. If you're willing to meet me halfway and cover the labor costs, I can order a replacement tire with the desired tread pattern for your trailer. The total out-of-pocket cost would be $40.00. Please let me know what you decide, and we'll go from there. RJH The total cost for me will be much higher than $40.00. It will be a 100 mile drive round trip for me and the price of diesel fuel is high. If you take your car or truck into a dealer and ask for a set of new tires would you expect them to mount mix matched tired on your vehicle? If they tell you "its okay they are the same size" would you be okay with that? Bryan, this is a trailer not a car/truck. The tire is the correct size and load range. Clearly you came all the way to us because of price and availability. The price of fuel has nothing to do with the services we provide. This is what I am willing to do. I will not bicker back and forth. It is completely up to you on what you decide. Acceptable Compromise: If you must mix brands, ensure the size and load rating (e.g., Load Range D) are identical, as mismatched diameters can be dangerous. I'm not bickering just stating facts. To clarify you were the only dealer i checked pricing on.

Trailside RV - Mold and water damage

Sold Us a Moldy, Leaking RV -- Then Refused to Help When Caught…read more Review: We purchased a 2012 Jayco White Hawk Ultra Lite from Trailside RV Center in Grain Valley, MO -- and it turned out to be a moldy, water-damaged, structurally unsafe nightmare. None of this was disclosed at the time of sale. Shortly after purchase, the floors began softening and rotting. Active leaks were found throughout the unit. A pest control professional confirmed it was uninhabitable due to excessive moisture and decay. During a conversation at the dealership, a manager accidentally read aloud from an internal inspection report -- clearly stating "bad seals" -- which Trailside never disclosed to us. That was the moment we realized: they knew. When we reached out to resolve the issue, Pat Baggette, Trailside's controller (who also happens to be a licensed attorney, though not listed as their legal counsel), responded by email stating that, due to our decision to involve third parties like the BBB, they were no longer willing to work toward an "amicable solution." We paid over $13,000 for a trailer that was unsafe and unfit for living. Trailside chose to walk away rather than make it right. If you're thinking about doing business with them -- don't. Get a third-party inspection. Record every interaction. And most importantly, don't trust their word.

There was one minor issue that was my fault which happened after the online appraisal form. Once I dropped the trade off a day before we were to make the deal, they went over it in great detail and used their assessment to devalue my trade. They claimed $5k in repairs needed to resell. They brought up issues that I had no knowledge of and many were Jayco quality and workmanship related. They attempted to assess the unit as if it were brand new. They sell this junk to us knowing its junk then use that against you to devalue your trade when the time comes. Just like all RV dealers, shady and untrusting. Did the deal anyway as they caved. Your better off buying from a private seller as dealers cannot be trusted.
