Eli called their bluff and came out to swap the fitting and took care of our tenants as soon as the parts arrived. I'll admit that sometimes we don't get a prompt call back or quick turn around because he's a busy shop and we are in Manchester, an hour south on the coast from his normal territory. Please hire an extra hand to serve the south coast and give this area some better service.

The two men that were here had found the problem, figured out which of our irrigation lines they could turn off and replaced a piece in the pump that should've told it to shut off. Two men walking around, looking for the problem, found it, fixed it, and we're so polite and offered some suggestions about how we could trim down the amount of faucets in our backyard. The aging kitchen had very little cabinet space and a very suboptimal layout. And, there was a near-finished loft with 410 sq. ft. But, curiously, no stairway access save for a drop-down ladder in the hallway. Meeting us at the home, we shared our ideas of how both could be changed to our liking with Mike Ohlandt and it immediately became apparent from his expert advice, enthusiastic demeanor, and knowledgeable and helpful suggestions we had found the right contractor for the job. From our personal time schedule, to prompt communications along the way, to working with his recommended subcontractors for cabinets and countertop design, and everything in between, the experience was effortless and refreshingly professional. Every detail of what we had imagined came to fruition, and the transformation of the home is something we still marvel at each time we walk in. We can't imagine having had any other team for the job. He stopped by yesterday…read more I told him the history of my "very unusual" kerosene fueled water heater and the central heating system that it is hooked up to. I described my frustration in dealing with "other" local plumbing companies. I soon learned that my Bock water heater is of excellent quality. Michael believed that it could last for additional decades with appropriate attention. While he acknowledged that he was not qualified to work on HVAC equipment, Michael pointed out what was obvious to him, my Bock water heater was apparently in good working condition and there was no need to replace it. He came to this conclusion after I asked him what he would do if he were me. Our interaction was significantly noteworthy for several reasons: #1. I learned that my water heater could serve me for possibly three times as long as I had previously been told. I had been led to believe that a water heater such as mine had a lifespan of approximately 15 years. #2. A potential bill for work that could have been $4,000 or more evaporated. #3. I have established a healthy "client/provider" relationship with a plumber I can talk to. #4. Michael appears to possess an open mind as well as an ability to adapt to his clients. It is comforting to learn that my heating system is functioning properly. Charlie
