Elaina and Emma have done so much to get me where I am today in my recovery through all my emotions. Special thanks to student PT Kyle's personal knee replacement experience to let me know everything I have been feeling and working through is part of the process. Also giving me an example of what I will be capable of if I stick with my PT. I will be sad to leave these guys. But luckily they have great massage therapy so I won't be gone for long. They have been a true pleasure to work with and have my endless gratitude. I have and will recommend them to all.

Although my X-rays didn't show anything, I couldn't walk for a few days and could barely walk for several weeks. After just one acupuncture session with Josh, I experienced immediate relief the very next day. As soon as I was able, I scheduled appointments with their chiropractor, Jeff, along with their amazing team of physical therapists and massage therapists. Because of the injury, some old issues resurfaced, but the Vida team worked together seamlessly to provide top-tier, holistic care. I look forward to more strength building and maintenance. I feel so fortunate and grateful to this team including the staff dealing with all the complex insurance and appt jugrgling!

A PT at Select PT stared in disbelief when I lifted my left arm alongside my head and said, "I hope you know that's not normal," and clarified that she'd never seen such great range of motion following a total shoulder replacement. I just had the same surgery done on my right shoulder and am looking forward to going back to Maren for my PT. She is not in my neighborhood and there's sometimes quite a lot of traffic, which I really don't like...and there are good (from what I hear) PTs walking distance from me...but I'm willing to brave the traffic for someone I know will do a great job!

Let me just say this: I love Madison Park PT. Strong words, I know, but i can safely say we've…read moregotten to that level. I've been to many PT offices in the past ten years and I look for two things: one, do the PT's know what they are doing? Here the answer is yes--not only do they know the basics, they are incredibly up-to-date--I was really impressed with my PT for discussing new research on certain ways of building up certain ancillary muscles to help out my knees--exercises NONE of my previous PT's have done with me, and my knees are really thanking Dan for his work with me. The space and equipment they have is really comprehensive, as well. Definitely not lacking for what both my PT and other's in the office require. I almost wish sometimes I had another injury so I could use some of the cool looking equipment. Second thing that's necessary in a great PT office is the staff-- and every single staff member from the PT's to the front desk to the PT assistants are awesome. A lot of fun to work with, and incredibly nice and easy going. They all really know their patients-- it's not just obligatory conversations that take place, everyone who works here really likes and are great at working with people. Fun, friendly vibe in the whole place, including their cute dog that runs around. Hours are available for both earlier and later in the day appointments, I haven't had any problems with scheduling or cancellations, and they've been able to work with me when I had to last-minute change an appointment. Really appreciate and am grateful for everyone here! Lastly, I must include the fact that they have great music playing in the background, and remember what I said about everyone here being wonderful? They even take special requests for having my favorite jams on as I walk in the door for my appointment. Can't say enough about these folks!

Imagine the worst abscessed tooth...that is what it is like everyday of my life. I don't know how she sleeps at night. I sued her and she has very little malpractice insurance. Exactly 8 years ago today at 5 am, I entered Swedish Hospital in Seattle to undergo brain surgery…read morefor Chiari Malformation. It was the single most petrifying thing I have ever done in my life. I entered the hospital with the following symptoms that thousands of people around the world also have, but cannot find doctors to give them answers for because most doctors are not trained in Chiari. My symptoms were... a chronic cough that made my head feel like someone had shot a gun through it at point blank lasting about 30 seconds each time; with each cough also came an electrical zapping that felt like bolts of lightning or a taser shooting out the top of my head and fingers and toes; I had complete dizziness that never stopped, causing it to be hard to think, see, concentrate, walk, shower, cook, shop, drive, fall asleep, pretty much do anything; upper and lower extremities would constantly fall asleep randomly; I would choke on nothing without warning, and also while eating and drinking without warning, my swallowing function would randomly just stop; I also felt like I had a golf ball in my throat even though a scope said I was fine; my vision was off; my gait felt choppy and uncoordinated, my memory was non-existent; I was unable to think of words when talking; I would say sentences that didn't make sense... And more! Thankfully God led me to a surgeon who was up to date on the latest Chiari research and she knew about all my symptoms and what my imaging meant. I will be forever grateful to Dr Jayashree Srinivasen, because I was on the very edge and she saved my life. Two weeks after my surgery, the lightening bolts and the gunshot head pain just disappeared. Many of the other symptoms continued to disappear over time. It has taken a long time to heal. At about 4 to 5 years post op, I stopped improving, but I am extremely grateful for as far as I have come in this journey. Thank you to those who have read this far. And thank you for my friends and family who have carried me through this. You know who you are and you are priceless to me. God bless you for being there for me! And I love all of you! Praying the surgery continues to hold and I never need a second one! Happy Zipperversary to Me! Lol Tammi Davie, 6/30/24
