The pastas were just passable, with noodles that were past al dente and arrabbiata sauce that was rather lacking in Calabrian peppers and garlic. Still, the server was quite proud of his trick of adding some brandy to top off the pasta. That probably helped but couldn't rescue the pasta. The pizza was better, as it came fresh off the oven. At least, we lucked out as the neighboring table was presented with two blackened lumps of dough that obviously had to be sent back. In a pinch, this will do, just don't expect quality Italian food despite the proximity.
