They were the only place that could get me in as soon as possible, and that was 3 weeks out. I was a new self pay patient since I have become a stay at home mom and no longer have insurance through my previous employer. I have had contacts/glasses since grade school and am very familiar with costs of contacts and office visits but even so I called around and asked about self pay costs and although this place quoted me the highest, they were the only ones that could get me in the "quickest." I thought there would be no way that my visit would be more than $300 just based off of my prior experiences at other eye care facilities. Boy was I wrong. The cost of the visit, although it was very thorough, was $450! Outrageous. This did not include anything other than the exam itself. I had to pay an additional $100 to fill my contact prescription and I thought I would check out some lenses as I'm due for a new pair of glasses they quoted me $450! I'll stick to getting my exam at another facility next time as I learned my lesson the hard way. If you have insurance, great! If you don't, you might want to take your business elsewhere because the average price at most offices for an exam is $250. Lesson learned.

Went to go get my costly prescription today Friday 2:00pm And they are closed!! Yelp hours say their open till 5:00pm Google hours say their open till 5:00pm , Their own website says they're open until 5:00pm!! Facebook however gives different hours! I dropped FB and refuse to use it! So I guess to Capstone Eye Clinic if you don't use FB they don't care and you are screwed!!! (I had to call a friend and ask them to check to confirm my suspicion) So disappointed Capstone Eye Clinic you CAN and have done BETTER!

Later, when I arrived at the clinic, they did not instruct me in anything, they did not give me a piece of paper that said what I had to do because I had never in my life gone to a drug test. Since I couldn't pee, they told me I had to stay for 3 hours. and I told them that I was going to go to my car to get a chocolate because I hadn't eaten for 8 hours and that my stomach also hurt so I went out and came back and these people told me that I had done something totally horrible for having gone out to grab a chocolate to my car I went to that clinic voluntarily. For a moment I felt imprisoned, this clinic is super irresponsible and... its irresponsibility cost me the job that I was going to have at Walmart, my job. I needed this job. . They treated me like a criminal I felt like the gestapo was trapping me They made me feel totally horrible They took me to a little room and they started telling me that they couldn't give me the test because I had done something super wrong the crotchety The lack of professionalism of this clinic is unheard of. I also had another experience in this clinic in which I left the clinic crying about how the doctor treated me, a true monster. My experience in this clinic was totally horrible and not only that, this clinic affected my life, the life of my children because I am not going to have a job.

I have been wearing glasses for 40 years, so I know how to go into a store and pick them out on my own. It felt very much like the young lady was commission based, so she was pushing glasses on to me. It was just too much. I explained, I'm having Lasik done in 2 months, so I just need something to hold me over for a few weeks.. not a $5-$700 pair of glasses combination she was pulling out.. I became so frustrated, I just left and purchased glasses online for a fraction of the cost (also when I mentioned that as an option, she made it clear that was basically tacky and it hurt my feelings a little and she can't promote it.. well no kidding when I got them for $123 with the lenses where as what she was trying to sell me was $300-$400 glasses + $150 lens and then a $320 appointment) for a 2-month pair. With that being said, the doctor was truly AMMMMAZING but I don't need to feel like I'm buying a car when I'm browsing the eye glass selection.
