I have had CGM replace two windows for my residence. They came to my home and replaced a front window that had picked up a stray BB from somewhere. Later, I took a bedroom window out of the frame to their shop and the double glass replaced. Both times, very resonable prices, great service, and quality was spot on! I have asked for quotes for 3 jobs. I have never got a call back. Too much wasted time and effort.

I had a front windshield replaced on July 15, 2022. It cracked on the passenger side from top to bottom. Not an obvious 'rock' crack. I had an independent replace that window. It took him over one hour to remove the old windshield. It was installed incorrectly, the stops on the bottom were not in place. The windshield was crammed so high up into the frame, that the upper window frame was damaged with scratches. All together, it took two hours for the replacement job. And Coolidge left a fine glass dust all over the inside dash and on the hood. It was more of a tension crack, as if the window was forced into place. It not have been the correct window for my make and model. Because this new windshield looks entirely different. read more

Save your time and save your money. A few months ago I took an old, thick, curved display cabinet shelf into their store and asked for two identical, tempered shelves. I was given an acceptable price and timeline. When the shelves arrived I noticed the new ones were not tempered or as thick, but I took them and the original shelf home. One shelf corner broke off. Neither shelf was cut to match the original, WHICH THEY HAD. I returned with all shelves and was told they traced them correctly but the vendor must have screwed up. Unacceptable on both parties. No quality control on either end. I can not get my money back, I can not get my shelves remade, I can not get past the woman at the front desk. NO Satisfaction. read more

UPDATE: The owner Joseph called me immediately after I posted the original 2 star review on Yelp. He was very professional and apologetic about the service I had with his company, Coolidge glass. He was adamant that he would rectify the problems immediately. He would have a meeting with his staff asap and would be giving them some further training in customer service, and the glass business, in general. I made sure he knew that the staff I dealt with was friendly and seemed to be trying, they just needed more training and guidance, in my opinion. The owner also offered to come back and check my window himself and he also offered a credit for the service portion of my bill. I will be adjusting my review to a 5 star, since the owner quickly took charge and rectified the issues. I called on a Thursday to have my bedroom window fixed. A young man came out that am and measured the glass and left. He left my sunscreen hanging off on one side) and I got no call back for an estimate. I called the office for an estimate and the receptionist/scheduler sounded frazzled and confused, but, polite. She apologized for no call back after the tech measured the window. She said they would have my glass by the following Wednesday and thats when they would come to install it. So I stayed home that following Wednesday. I waited until noon for a call. No call. I called at 12:15pm and again Jessica sounded confused about my glass replacement and appointment. She left the phone and came back and said my glass didn't arrive yet and I had to wait another week. So we scheduled for the next week on Friday between 9 and 10am. So today, Friday, two young men showed up early at 820am. No phone call. So I wasn't ready for them. I was still in my pajamas. They waited outside while I threw some clothes on. They came in and got right to work. They weren't talkative or overly friendly. It took them about 1 hour to put the new glass in. I checked the window before they left and it was hard to open. I asked why and the tech didn't have an answer for me. Odd. When I pushed him for an answer, he said the wheels might be going bad. The window itself wasn't cleaned very well and the track was filled with debris from the install. So, the tech gives me the invoice and I call the office to pay the remainder of the bill, (I paid half down initially). My invoice had the wrong last name on it. I let her know this. Also she wrote the wrong amount I owed on my invoice. She corrected that error too. I told her the techs were early and she said "Sorry, I keep telling them to call if they are early and they just don't". She took my payment and said she would email me the receipt and abruptly said bye and hung up. Kinda weird, but, ok. I haven't received the emailed receipt yet, but, I will check on that later. So, to sum up my experience with Coolidge Glass in a few words, I would say, Confused, Unorganized, & Unprofessional. The young adults working there are fresh in the field and need more guidance and training, especially in professionalism, customer service, and the glass replacement field in general. read more

I have been all over Mesa and Gilbert and the Chandler area looking for a reliable glass company to cut triangles for burial flag displays. These are important pieces that display flags that have been used to bury our honored veterans. Often the flag is the only thing a family receives as a memory of a funeral. Coolidge glass and mirror is the only Company I have found that will do this. Some say they won't cut angels, others won't do single pieces etc.. I called last Monday to schedule an estimate for Friday. No one called or showed up, they said there was no paperwork found. Very unprofessional in not calling to advise me that they were not going to show up. I took off 1/2 day of work. I will not be calling Coolidge Glass ever again! read more

Customer service really sucks..... called on Friday to see about getting the track fixed on a sliding glass door. Receptionist said she had to talk to the owner and set up an appointment. Said she would call me back. Waited all day for the phone call. Never called back. I called back and she said they would be here on Monday morning. Called Monday to try to see what time they would be here. They said they had me scheduled between 2:00 - 4:00. They were going to reschedule an appointment and try to get me in the AM. Said they would call me and let me know.... once again never got a call. Waited home all day for them to show up... no show no call. Called on Tuesday to see if they were going to show up on Tuesday. They said they would be here in the am..... guess what.... still no show and no call 4;00 pm they close at 4:00 read more

This company has gone downhill 100% since it has been under new ownership. I have used this company for years and a handful of times since the new ownership. I put up with poor service in the beginning since I figured they were new and learning how things work. No more. So sad a company with a great reputation in town is now so horrible. In talking with neighbors, they said the same thing. Worst customer service ever! Take care of repeat customers. They are your best bet for continued growth and referrals.
