There was one waitress serving everyone which was a little frustrating because it ended up getting fairly busy and it took a while for one person to take care of so many tables. Otherwise, food was delicious. Grilled halloumi salad could've had more dressing, it tasted like there was only olive oil drizzled on it so i asked for some lemon wedges. Full rack of ribs (half lamb, half pork) was finger licking goood, you can't go wrong with any of their meat options. Hot, tender, melting off the bone, exactly how it should be!!! Overall good experience.

The service is spotty at best, but not unusual for this part of Sydney where the staff are more likely to be part time students who just came off a hard night at the local clubs than full time hospitality folk. So after some confusion around table numbers and what we did or didn't order, the food eventually made an appearance. The Huevous Rancheros looked very good, and I am told was quite good. The French toast was small in serving - but very tasty. It left me room to try the PB&J off the kids menu. Very basic is appearance and taste - but still fun. The seating area is very spacious and the ambience feels very Sunday brunch. Relaxing and cool. It's a quiet part of town generally on weekends. We followed up with the "crack pie" which didn't crack at all, instead it was a gooey melted version. Still taste nice and the praline ice cream that came with it was very good. Needs some attention to detail - but I'd come back again.

Given its in the Eveleigh Carriageworks space, it wasn't particularly full which we liked as we could actually hear each other talk. A good range of wines, though none of the cocktails appealed. I was then told when I asked, that doesn't apply to 'specials' despite being told I could apply it to any food. The person behind the bar also tried to tell me that there was 10% off the bill when I ordered - which was wrong as anyone can take 10% off in their head without much mental agility. Anyway. So after all that and her walking off to find out if a drink was included, something she said to me, and then coming back to say no sorry - no discount and no drink. She took the order. We then got 3 roast dinners that were stone cold. We returned them to a 'oh sorry i guess' kind of attitude. We then had them brought back to us - the same food on the same plates - supposedly reheated. First of all we should have been given fresh plates and new food... but worst of all they were still cold?!?! What had been done to them? What chef in their right mind sends the same plates out again- and still cold?? This is potentially the worst dining experience experience I've had in my life in Sydney ... and it was a special occasion for us. Well done for ruining it.

It's an American style burger restaurant diner. My buddy ordered the Trump burger with milkshake and said it was the best burger ever. We ordered some dishes from the weekly special menu. The Prince of Darkness was huge. There were loaded with bacon, beef patty and a chicken wing on top. It was delicious. I also had Loaded Fries. The Oreo milkshake was ok as it's got a lot of whipped cream, not a lot of milkshake. Overall, our experience was great.

Visually, the curry was disappointing. As far as taste, it didn't taste bad but it wasn't good either. I swear I remember they advertised it as the best curry you'll ever have. That's definitely not true, but I doubt the sign was meant to be taken literally. I don't think you can really mess up halloumi, so that was as good as expected. The inside decor is nice from what I could tell (it's really dark in there at night!). The bathrooms are clean. This place wasn't particularly memorable. I had the duck dish as that's one of my favorite meals. I can't say that this was cooked the way I tend to like my duck, which is more pink in it. It was overcooked . You can't beat the view from this restaurant and the service was very attentive and they were very friendly. The only thing I would say is they could update it inside a bit more. Maybe new carpet and furniture but all in all it was worth it. I think we paid $72 per person, so it wasn't cheap and then you still had to buy your alcohol (2 glasses of wine cost $51 ) which is pretty expensive, oysters were extra, side dishes were extra as well. First, the interior is aesthetically stunning as it seems to be in a covered courtyard that now connects two historic buildings. Very instagramable. The breakfast buffet is always satisfying in its selection, presentation and service. I usually quickly order an omelette (made-to-order) that is ridiculously tasty (I usually order it with everything except cheese bc of lactose intolerance), and then sweep through all the freshly made hot food items (pork sausage, bacon (Turkey and regular), triangular hash browns, beans (there's a variety), etc. Their pastry selections are wonderful as well ( I usually go for the normal croissant and blueberry muffin, but they have plenty of other items that are crazy gourmet looking). Their juices are awesome too as they have the usual selections but also mixes like a watermelon-beetroot juice and some delicious kiwi concoction. SO GOOD!
